Joke aside, I have a rather different question: Will it bl... ... I mean... "What kind of EQ should I trade it for?"

Considered I'm melee, my main options would be: 1H, 2H, Cloth

The best scenario would be to trade it for 2H and get a Katana since that's what I want the most, but the chance of getting it is very slim, more than getting Phase I believe... and if I don't get a Katana, I will get a glorified piece of shit (AKA: Exquishit) instead...

Cloth would be what most people trade it for, but I don't feel like in need for more protection that much. The same situations as 2H also applied here I think and most likely I will get a fine piece of cotton ass-wiper instead of anything else. but Ichy did got a Silk.. I will wait a bit and see how other people doing.

Most likely I will go with 1H. Although the rewards are not as great (I'm already quite satisfied with what I have), there's less chance of getting an exquishit and get something I could use, or at least, to play with.

Trade for Heavy doesn't sound so bad, but it most likely to be suck more than a pre-nerfed one anyway..

Seeing some of the shimmering presents makes it very tempting...kinda want to wait until I'm at least a 100 though....just so I can avoid leveling stuff

You're wasting credits if you are. I know several people around here with hundreds that could be sold to you for less than the bazaar price, including myself.

Yeah, I'm still waiting for that too. Until then I'll maintain the grandeur/delusion that the present can get me some Legendary Phase damage bonuses.


Also, how many people have redeemed the x-mas Tree artifact? Does it have standard artifact functionality, or has anyone gotten something out of the norm, such as large amounts of hath?

I think it has standard artifact tendencies. Mine gave me a single point to Endurance, but I cannot be sure if anybody else got anything out of the norm, though.

Yeah, I usually only buy them if I desperately need them from the bazaar. I usually buy them from other players if I need more than one of them.

Last year...

This year, we're beating the major holiday celebrations to the punch, and handing out the presents early. All regular members (non-recruits) have now received 1,000 Credits, 10 Hath, and one Ability Point - in addition to the exclusive trophy item, the Solstice Gift, of which 1174 copies have been created for the occasion. You can trade this item for a little something from Snowflake, or keep it around as a random inventory filler for all I care.

This year...

This year, a total of 1700 were generated of each of the exclusive items.

Out of idle curiosity, how many of you still have your solstice gifts from last year?

I sometimes salvage Scrolls of Darkness and Scrolls of Absorbing as well, but usually, I only buy stuff from Bazaar if it is amazing, like my Superior Prism Longsword of Balance with a 5 turn 19% 419 damage bleed with 37.80% ADM and something like 27-30% accuracy (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Other items I buy from the Bazaar:

Potions I use very often
Artifacts (sometimes)
