1 hour ago: @gnumon For the uploader, an overall lack of funds to keep spare virtualized servers with 24 TB storage online. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif) Did EH will close?

QUOTE(Tenboro @ Feb 12 2012, 20:42) We're fine, and even if our current payment provider can't recover, I'll have something up and running before it becomes a real problem.

Heh no, some guy asked why we weren't using virtualized servers. For one, because using virtualization at our scale would be utterly retarded. And while the reliance on a single upload server is a weakness I'd like to address, the additional complexity has risks as well.

Redundancy: It's not just for nuclear power plants anymore!

QUOTE(Maximum_Joe @ Apr 26 2012, 21:19) Redundancy: It's not just for nuclear power plants anymore! If we didn't have redundancy, you wouldn't be able to browse images right now. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) The specific process of adding images to the system redundant is fairly complex, but if it turns out that we have to replace the server, I might take on the challenge.

I have twice as many Bindings of Friendship as I do Isaac. That's terrible.

That I also experienced, which lead to the question: Do the system deliberately select lower-tier Bindings like Fire-eater and Turtle over the higher-tier Slaughter, just like how it selected Low-, Mid-, and High-Grade materials?

No, the system deliberately selects only the materials you need the least.

QUOTE(LangTuTaiHoa @ Apr 26 2012, 19:52) I was all happy and dreamy and stuffs until I saw the bleed proc chance and amount. No thanks sir (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Bleed isn't that important with 4800 base attack damage + void + spirit stance. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) But more bleed would certainly help with 8+ mob IWBTH waves. Everything else gets steamrolled too fast for it to matter. But I would certainly like to get a mace similar to bunko's before tenboro destroys shatter strike. So that I have something to transition to for crysfest.
