No, but I could tell you how many exist right now. There are 11272 fine weapons in the system, of which 2952 are currently equipped. But I just noticed that the threshold for Ethereal weapons wasn't changed when I changed the entry points for what constitutes a "Fine" weapon, so it's actually a bit too high.

Does that sentence about the threshold for Ethereal and Fine mean it'll be harder to get an Ethereal if you fix it (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)?

See, with numbers that high I'd expect more ethereal battlecaster, not that I really want or need one, but just because of the probability of them dropping. 11,000 right now, and people toss them out all the time if they're not wanted.

Well, the math hasn't always been like this, and as it is right now, Ethereal only drops in the higher part of the Fine tier. With an estimated ratio of 1 to 7000, there's nothing wrong with those numbers.

The shimmering present is a separate entity from the solstice gift last year (although they may have the same effect).
