I don't know. Apparently resistance is a useful thing to have on rare occasions, so 35k seems like a bargain. Do you disagree with its assumed usefulness?

I dislike the idea of having to bid on an entire equipment set. Not worth it for just that one piece you really want.

So do you disagree with the usefulness of resistance, then? Otherwise I can't really explain why anybody would think of 30k as too high of a bid. oO

i would only use it against the flying pink unicorn and i don't even like to fight that thing for 800 turns again. Also i have bought my holy mitigation gear from the bazaar for less than 10k and it's slightly inferior than thanos'his anti unicorn gear.

true enough, but it's easier to get rid of your equipment by bundling it in a set.
also, you might fetch more

If our levels in HV supposedly don't have any meaning then why do we have to post, say like in Spamhaus, to get an EXP boost? What's the point of that?

Specific Mit gear is useful in only one specific situation and that's all you'll ever use it for. Killing the Gods after the initial clear is more or less a waste of time and resources. The clear bonus is less than what you could get if you spent your time on other things and Trophies generally redeem for rubbish.

Because you still get more karma power from posts, and level.

It's also easier to buy a set in one go than collect it piece by piece if you don't have any or only very few items serving that purpose and better ones aren't easily and freely available. I guess for a high level player it doesn't make much sense. But there are still nubies like me. Thank you That made sense and fits percectly with my own experience. I just thought that it might be worthwhile for increased drop chance.

Reducing your karma enemies to ash in an endless cycle of negative karma attacks!

if i wanted to waste my left over tokens of blood, i would have been killing normal bosses instead. they offer the same reward and are so much easier to defeat. BTW i don't think that drop chances matter, because they will only drop their trophy. You might get a token bonus or arena clear bonus though.

Increasing your Expunge/Rename Mod Power? Well by now you can't increase much more, but getting the max wouldn't be one objective? Like Getting every single hath perks or every single training I guess. @gotei: There's a hard cap. This post has been edited by cmdct: Dec 22 2010, 02:37

I'm sitting on a ton of decent mit gear that no one ever bought when I had my shop. Like, stuff in the 20s.
Also, Snowflake keeps giving me crappy wakizashi.

Another reason I don't like selling sets is because they're pre-built based on MY equipment building strategies. I prefer it that people can pick and choose the pieces THEY want based on THEIR needs. HV is already incredibly homogeneous with regards to strategies and character builds, I'm not going to impose more of it by selling people my sets.
tl;dr: Its a matter of principle.
