Failed again in End of Days at 91 rounds. ( ̄ε(# ̄) Run out of all the 11 god mana pots and 2 spirit pots. (╯°Д°)╯╧╧ I tried a set of power armor (til 91) and a set of shade armor (til 89), each with the same ethereal balance mace. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ Could any one tell me how a melee can finish EoD? Or maybe I should use up all my Mana Exiles (#°Д°)

How about using new shards? Or using DW?

Use Illithid gears with high proc and drain?

gonna try DW tomorrow. I feel my problem is lack of mana at the end. Maybe more damage makes me kill school girls faster but I wonder whether it will save me the mana for ten more rounds since I stopped at 91 with a good luck of many mana gems dropped. I want to try the new shards. But I'm getting plenty of Featherweight but none of the other two. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) It seems nobody is selling Voidseeker now.

I guess low WD Illithid gears just make the killing takes more rounds to give the mana drained back to more buff cost.

I'm not 100% sure, but after 2 days training melee gears, I've noticed this: This illithid estoc of mine takes me to deeper rounds (200+) of easy crude IW than this slaughter estoc which has much better WD (100+).

Like varst said, DW works much better for EoD. If you're playing on normal, I also suggest using spirit shield only and no spark of life to save on spirit consumed. As a reference, I can get through EoD w/ my shadowdancer set and dual-wielding a void club + void rapier using maybe 3-4 mana pots. I usually get enough spirit gems that I don't need a spirit potion.

But low WD in my case may give school girls to use their spirit attack again, which really decrease my spirit a lot while I can't drain spirit like mages using Spirit spell -- the Stunned cover the Ripened Soul directly. What ever illithid will be a better choice than the balance one I'm using. I will try them.

Oh, I keep spark of life as the auto cast spell. It seems a big waste of mana then. So it is because DW works better than two-hand in case of less but more powerful monsters? I gonna try my ethereal axe of slaugher DW next time which I think less powerful than club/rapier set while I dont care using more potions. Hope this time I can made it. you don't want to put spark on IA for low diff with SS already active, moreover with a little number of enemies.

I've just cleared The Twilight on Normal using DW [ Eth Club + Eth Rapier] with only SS in auto-cast. And it's really works better than 2H, even considering my low prof (~140), 'cause I spent only three Godly Mana. After a few more FSM battles, I feel like the HP formula for monsters has changed and that I'm not imagining things.
248: HP: 8555710 249: HP: 8675344.5 250: HP: 8795787 251: HP: 8986828.5 252: HP: 8795787 (Jumps back to 250's HP) 253: HP: 8986828.5 254: HP: 8856311.25 MP: 474/1005 SP: 93/1449 (Decreased and switches to a figure unlike the previous ones) 255: HP: 9109341.5 MP: 345/1022 SP: 501/1456 (Returns to an expected HP value, but is apparently for 253).

School girls have 150000+ Hp in my case while I can only make less than 10000 damage one attack. Many rounds even only 4000-5000 damage. It usually takes me more than 25 rounds to kill one girl. you can try bewilder or silence. But if you put absorb into auto cast it would help. You can also try using slow on them. if you want 2hd and Shatter Strike + slow you should be able to kill her before the stun turns off. If each round takes more then 20 turns you could use SS twice, that is a lot of time she would be stunned. But if you did that you may want to try a weapon with bleed.
