I thought it would be slower to load custom fonts?

Nope.

If you pick a system font as the custom; then no, custom font is faster.

If you pick a download font (somewhere from the web, url to font) as the custom; then yes, the custom font is slower depending on the size.

Man, something is slowing stuff down. The main site and the forums are okay, but HV and parts of the Galleries are like molasses.

It is probably those custom scripts your not sharing chewing through the processing of the pages.

I tried using the Earthbound Mr. Saturn font for HV. It wasn't playable.
