I'm already late on P4:A, which I don't give two shits about because it's a 95% copycat of the game, and Zero no Tsukaima F, which is terrible as well. But I still have to finish both shows.

I know someone with the same "disease": he's got this huge pile of all time horrible, horrible movies I'd never watch even under torture (I mean, stuff like the Toxic Vindicator or Bioexterminator or Chitti Robot...).

He starts watching one, cringes and turns off the set in a matter of minutes. The day after he resumes watching, because once started he HAS to go all the way and the cycle repeats.

I think I've gone insane. For some reason I've decided to port HV_STAT to native code. I've been working on this since Tuesday, and only have the text log hilighting and separators done. The main reason it took so long to do so little is because I spent a lot of time trying to figure out the monstrosity that is XPCOM before I discovered js-ctypes. Unfortunately I don't know how to manipulate the DOM in native code with js-ctypes so there's still a lot of JavaScript code.

I was wondering: is there a "centralized" DB for the monsters scanned by the community or you have to build your own DB scan by scan? Also, how much would a common DB slow down the page load?

The idea of listing the monster's strenghts/weaknesses is nice, but I believe listing the class would be enough. Then again, 80% of what you face is a giant anyway...

There used to be the monster list, but then Tenboro deleted it.
And it wouldn't slow down the page too much.

Not that it really matters for 99% of people anyway, is it? Most people just go Cyclone/Hurricane -> Thunderstorm or Banish->Pestilence and be done with it.

Actually HV is quite addictive, to be honest.

It used to be so much fun too, until all these player nerfs and custom mobs start showing up.

Now the game's becoming quite a chore.

I wish I could still melt faces like I could a year back @_@.

Now that enemies are showing up mostly level 271+ I'm loving the magical jump in defense they have.
