Damn I want a script to calculate mana conservation.
(It's about Channeling.)

Regen II
201/78 = 2,58 mana tick
0/118 (< turns with channeling)
40*2,58 = 103,2 mana conserved

Heartseeker
268/380 = 0,74 mana tick
0/571 (< turns with channeling)
191*0,74 = 141,34 mana conserved

So if my current upkeep is Regen II with 33 turns left and Heartseeker with 379 turns left and I trigger Channeling:
R2: (118-33)*2,58 = 219,3 mana conserved
HS: (571-379)*0,74 = 142,08 mana conserved

I wish there was a way to efficiently make use of channeling. (Without stopping to check my current status and recalculate.)

I only toss fox/owl phase to the bazaar and it has to be low. I think some of the power armor I tossed was ok

I have a 92.2% Magic Hit chance and I've never missed 3 in a row, but today I missed 6 in a row, so I switched to melee weapon; missed again and died! Aaaaaahhhh!

Its not always best to lowball bids. Make a real offer and you don't always have to deal with last second bids.
What did you think was going to happen?

I saw some really nice phase pieces go for much less. That's why I was not sure if it was the right time to do an auction.
There was little demand for Protection Kevlar and Protection Shield Armor, but that is to be expected I guess.

Is that as a mage or melee? I've been saving turtle gear just to see how much life I can get but have never bothered using it yet. Its more junk to look at that gets little or no use.

That's mage. I've never had that problem with any of my melee sets ever. I've got a Turtle suit and I put it on once to see its stats. I think I posted what I got when someone shoop'd their equip screen with a Turtle Mode fighting style.

Is Mana Conservation + 22.83% a lot?

I would say you sold it for just right, considering only lowbies would probably use a redwood focus staff

As for posting it in the range thread, either check and see what has already been posted, or just post it anyway, won't hurt me much. I will get around to updating soon(ish)

I'm still using my redwood focus staff. I wish it were katalox or ebony but otherwise it suits my play style just fine.

Unless I'm still considered low. If so, more free stuff plz :-P.

Seriously though. I know everyone goes for the damage output but mana conservation works on everything, not just offensive spells (like mdb). More criticals is nice too. Can't say that accuracy is really needed that much with the arcane focus though. Plus I save those minimal credits I needed for pots.

I figure this will suit me just fine unless I get something better for katalox. (focus, destruction, heimdall, fenrir, its all good) Though the last 2 I would only use if I had a set of equipment to match.

it would help if something other than redwood staves would actually drop.

A quick look at my log shows last 17 staff drops = 16 redwood, 1 willow. Don't think any of my other drops are so skewed.

@TheGreyPanther focus redwoods for cheap is fine. Redwoods are the most basic tier of staff. There's a lot of variance in mana conserve since you can't level it, but you'll see a couple in the bazaar for 20+ conserve every day. We've seen some w/ over 25%.

If I was your level, I'd still consider myself low, but not so low that I am considered a noob. I'd say middle class, but a focus shouldn't be to bad at your level since you don't have maxed accuracy aura and really high wis/int staffs making the accuracy chance high already.

Assuming trophies give you T1/T2/T3 at the same ratio as normal you will end up with a shitton of your staff drops as redwood, with the ratio being 93/5/2 with a sample size of 341 with the ratio normalized to 100 for simplicity.

T1 staffs are Redwood
T2 staffs are Oak/Willow
T3 staffs are Ebony/Katalox
with the split between Oak/Willow and Ebony/Katalox being 50/50 in their individual tiers.
