First time ever winning IWBTH hourly without SoL proc O_O

Well, even though I'm in Normal Condition, I figured I should at least do the arenas that give me a trophy at the end. I might not get the delicious +50% Credit Bonus that comes with Great Condition, but the trophies should net me some nice income for the day and I might be able to train one of the more expensive things.

I'm focusing on Adept Learner and Karma Booster, though I usually leave one Ability Boost before I go to sleep and if I happen to be hemorrhaging credits, I go for LOTD/Quartermaster in the hopes that one day, I'll get some decent equipment drops to use and if I'm swimming in credits, I go for Archaelogist/Assimilator.

EDIT: For me, Great stamina's 25% damage boost is more delicious.

Well, I got 1 Karma Amplifier in my early days but 1% is such an ugly, uneven number so I figured I might as well train it all the way to 100%. Also, I post in Spamhaus once in a while and the Karma flows like drool in a hentai manga there, so I might as well make the most of it. >.>

ya, sucks being a packrat. I need to drop all my old Gossamer/silk and then sell all my light/heave gear. Then see if anyone would like the elemental Mitigations gear I still have its all 27-29%

I don't need 17 Katanas or 19 Scythes but I can't seem to sell them off, the same goes with Soul damage Ethereals. I even have some Hulk gear, because I just know if I sell it tenb will make it the next godly item to have in the next patch (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif) I need training/perk that lets me have more junk. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

i think you really should drop the gossamer/silk. silk is the saddest case thanks to the patch (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
and if you think about it... he can't really reverse the evasion change otherwise heavy will become uber tank+evade (esp since shield barrier is so beastly now). in essence, all the new gossamer/phase etc is strictly superior to the old gossamer/silk

and i don't think anyone will really care for elemental mitigations... since they're the default drop nowadays - not to mention very very common in the bazaar (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

sounds like too many katanas and scythes as well... i had a bunch but i slimmed everything down so now i have 0 katanas and 2-3 scythes. i think ichy mentioned it once - almost all melee weapons aren't keeping nowadays unless they have amazing stats or are eth. i kinda agree with him there

Mage are now blessed with the fact that their high-end weapon are relatively easy to get. You sure you want to be in the same situation as melee, where the situation is so extreme any non-eth weapons automatically sucks? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

TBH I'm surprised Tenb actually implemented cmal suggestion of the Void thingy. Since given how the monster stats and the various physical 'element' mitigation are structured, it would immediately make everything non eth obsolete...

Chances of getting a katalox or a scythe got significantly lower with this patch, don't expect too much.
