If my calculations are correct, still 200 more AP to go before I max out the ability tree... granted, I don't use depreciative magic too much, so I'm pouring all my AP into magic defenses first. I'm down to elemental defenses, got light dark and soul maxed out. And of course I have all the tanks and the two right columns filled out and the random auto-cast skills I need.

I swear this is not how I remember it was supposed to be.

About random encounters.. I always thought the 1 hour cooldown started upon FINISHING the battle. However now I realize it's actually from the moment on you start the battle.
So if you're short on time you can actually start a random battle and finish it an hour later and start the next one immediately after! (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)

I feel like I discovered fire. In 2012.
