It's probably more worth it than QUOTE(hitokiri84 @ Dec 3 2010, 19:05) AL 281 - 546,428
for 1 % exp bonus (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

I'm currently training the karma trainings since I can cap those easily. I'm curious since you can make lot's of credits, how's your current trainings? Mine: 31/15/11/6 This post has been edited by cmdct: Dec 12 2010, 00:07

That 1% is not going to make much of a difference when you already have a bonus of a few hundred percent.

Actually, the higher your bonus, the greater the effect, even if it is only being raised by 1%....you'll still get a decent amount of extra experience. For example, if you got 1,000 experience from a single enemy, and you already had a bonus of 100%, that would give you 2,000 experience plus the additional 1% or 10 additional experience points, which would help to lower the overall time needed to level (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

No it doesn't. QUOTE(Razorflame @ Dec 12 2010, 00:12) Actually, the higher your bonus, the greater the effect
It's the exact opposite of that. This post has been edited by sushi0: Dec 12 2010, 00:14

I would think that if your experience bonus was 400%, you'd get four times the normal experience....so wouldn't it be a good thing to have a very high experience bonus in the long run?

If the XP bonus are all additive it's like suchi0 say, you'll see less difference, (if you have 400%, 4% will increase effectively only 1%) but I don't think they are additive, plus it's still a difference. And on battletoads you get 10X multiplier so it's more like he trained +10%...

I don't know understand how anyone can be confused about this. Basic common sense tells you that AL is additive. If it's not, then having 270 AL would give you 1.01^270 = 14.68x exp, which is essentially 1,468% exp bonus. People seem to be forgetting that there is a base value of 100% exp and unless specifically stated, no exp increasing boost will change that.

There are several XP bonuses, and they aren't all additive. AL is additive, but then you multiply that by one of the multiplicative bonuses. So yes, if AL is your ONLY XP bonus, its only 1%.

As far as I know, only 1 exp bonus is not additive, the rest of them are.

That still doesn't contradict the point I was making. Sonic had all of the formulas for this stuff up somewhere as a resource from his Calc, but I've since forgotten where and can't be assed to look it up.

Wasn't contradicting your point. Simply pointing out all the unnecessary hype people seem to be having for a whopping 1% of additive exp boost.

They are still 30/15/11/5 with 200/300 AL & 30/50 Power Regen then 6 other ones are maxed. I don't know what I'll train yet, maybe get Scavenger to 40 or AL to 225 or just add a point to each until they all cost over a million. I'm sitting on 2.1 mill credits and +500k equipment if I sell off the junk I haven't looked at yet (or post stuff in my shop). But I only have that because I haven't been training for a long time. If I can get back to doing 10 IW + arenas each day I'd start to get credits like I use to, but its hard to get motivated to do that. Since about 250 I haven't been doing as much as i use to. I'm lucky if I do 5 IW a day and often don't do them or finish off all my arenas. its 1.5 hours until the dawn and I need to run them still. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)

I'm wondering. What's the fastest way to kill FSM and when will I be able to do it? I want something like 100 turns or so to make it quick.
Or rather when is it going to be farmable? Same question really.
