Finally converted to a semi-full time holy/dark mage. My mjolnir set is still good for quick credits farming though.
But I'm still not quite familiar with spending more mana pots and dealing less damage (I changed from my destruction ebony to a weak focus katalox staff)

I've given up doing long ass arenas. Just been doing randoms for a while now.

Today was the first time in a long while I did all the arenas available at my level.
Dam it was boring! It took 2,5 hours!
If I hadn't been listening to Felicia Days "vaginal fantasy" (sadly not as dirty as it sounds) while crushing the monsters I would have given up.

Maybe I should get some nice estoc now?

Probably not ... The trend seem to go toward Scythe & Heavy. (esp Power armor) ... Estoc is fairly common, too.

Nah.. I doubt the people that shell out big bucks to buy those Scythe are even read that thread. The recent trend is fairly obvious and to be expected; I just reading the patch note and I knew instantly thing will be this way without even playing the game, other probably have the same idea as well.

The recent Scythe (and Heavy) boom, I guess, were stem from multiple factor like I said here: namely the Heavy buff and the OC & Skill thingy, plus a few another change in the last patch. Now you don't need to have 'blings' (i.e. hath perk & special aura) to use Heavy anymore.

I think Tenb did a very good job with the balancing (for melee) this time. More stuff become viable and the old stuff are still usable as well. I still stick with the same old setup (with some upgrade) for now; I just don't play the game enough these days to follow the lastest trend of the now...
