That conversation I was thinking of was explicitly about converting AP to something useful for people that have maxed their trees and have hundreds of unused points. I only speculated they could be converted to CT since Tenboro has implied they will be used as AP for monsters.

I'vd got +95 unused AP, most of those are from just leveling up. I'm glad I only got about 20 AP from my last 500 Artifacts.

Those could be used fast if a new tier was added for each type of spell.

in regards to magic equipment it seems better to find fair/average high EDB in regards to staffs because you wouldn't need as many expensive materials to upgrade

also, can we have dual ability spec? that'd be pretty cool and make it easier to switch between magic and melee both of which are equally (in)effective at this point

Even after all this changes, though, I'm a little jealous of mage ... At least they had a brief euphoria (a legit one) in 0.6.3 patch; the Forge, the free huge dmg boost and shit without any drawback... (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

I dunno, it was pretty cash back when us plate tanks were nigh invincible and shrugged off even the mightiest of attacks.

ebbs and flows, I miss when absorption actually could negate all damage and a group of normal mobs couldn't one shot you on normal with bad luck

I miss when armor actually did something.

When I joined Heavy was already awful for lvl 50+ (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)


It was slower but now it is OK again.

Used to do that too. Didn't really know it was taken off though? I stopped because some one told me you get a bonus for having all the same type.

Though I guess it was good the way I did it. Average all the profs until I choose which one to stick with, and also start my cloth armor higher than 0 knowing I would mage it out some day.

When I play as melee during arena battles, I can't ever use Backstab or Frenzied Blows although my overcharge is up to what is required. Why is that?

You have to use that eye-poking skill first in order to use the buttsec skill and so on.

BTW, if you buttsec blind monster, it become 'surprise buttsec' and do more damage. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
