First of all, I wasn't complaining. I was just trying to ask what all these people who have high profs already in maging and have been doing it a while, what difficulty they were doing on average. Never claimed I thought mages were masters of hentaiverse. I know there are plenty that melee do better in. For one thing, gaining credits. I had hundreds of mana pots before I maged. Now I'm down to my last 20 in each category but average. Besides buying the mana pots I'm going to need to survive, they need specialist armor for whatever my gameplan for mages is. Melee can do the same thing, but they have the luxery of survivability even with just decent armor.

That I may be guilty of but you left yourself open. And technically on normal I did one shot a lot of critters. But before I got my ethereal, it would have been the giants and mechs that made it take longer. Still, 30 turns was my average on heroic. (and thats because I miss tons).
Oh, and another reason I was asking is because it is going to take a while to get my stats where I want and my staff prof is ridiculous. If the magic strength wasn't what I thought it would be, it would be easier to switch back now rather than later. And besides that, maging seems like a major credit dump.
Last thing. I kind of meant it all to be positive. Thats why I left that one post with the little bit about the pa. Sure I was curious about why it is what it is. And no matter how I spin it, it will be what it is, atleast until a future patch changes it. And if I don't get my answer on pa soon, I'm going to make my own thread for it. I thought it was really funny and was wondering what other people thought was happening durring their adventure with a rapier. Its like hi, nice hole you have in your armor. Really? thank you. I have no sense in style, my morlock sis got it for me and well, her taste can't be worse than mine right?
