Might as well ask here: Has HV (and only HV) been much slower for anyone else recently?

I thought it might be a problem with my internet speed, but everything else is loading just as fast, if not faster (recently got faster internet).

Then I thought it might be a browser issue. I'm using Chrome with no add-ons for HV because I found it faster than Firefox. First I cleared out the cache and other stuff with no improvement. Then I tried using Firefox again, and it's just as slow.

Finally, I had recently changed the font to something else in hopes that it would make HV load faster, and it did. ...Until all of a sudden, it slowed down immensely.

The only thing I can imagine that's changed is that I have VLC player open as well, since I'm watching Batman: The Animated Series while playing HV, but I haven't noticed any difference playing HV with and without it.

Any advice or tips? This slowdown is literally only happening on "hentaiverse.org" out of all the sites I frequent.

30%? From when, because that seems like quite a jump.

On a more HV related note: Is the new Shade really worth it? I mean, I see stuff like this, with great Evade (not that Evade was altered, of course), but that Interference boost just seems nuts. Surely there has to be some point where restoring Evade is not worth the increase in Mana Cost, even with Spirit Stance's Mana Cost decrease being there.

And because of that, how does pre-0.6.4 Shadowdancer hold up now? It's got all the stuff current Shadowdancer armor has without the extra Interference. The only things I can see rivaling it are good pre-0.6.4 Fleet armor and current Arcanist armor.

Don't look at me, I'm still wearing pre-pre-nerf Phase with high evade and Fleet Silk with my Plate and Kevlar.

Since before the patch.

On New Shade: Shadowdancer is worse, it has higher interference. The other types are all "better" due to no burden (what the old Shadowdancer had going for it) and "worse" due to higher interference. I agree the increase to interference is just a bit too much.

Edit: Anyone else running into more 503 Service Unavailable errors lately?

Yep, I get it about 3-4 times a day. Seems like the server can't handle the load.

Daily arenas:
Rounds 1-49 from School girl arenas on BT
All arenas that give trophies on Normal

This feels so wrong. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

Sometimes I just wonder how much EXP you will get from Round 1-49 in schoolgirl areans

BTW, those legend trophies have good quality, so I choose them over more EXP.

Em...seriously, if I need EXP, why don't I go and play a few rounds in x25 cryfest, or x6 Trios?

Reason for BT or IWBTH Schoolgirl arenas up to right before the Schoolgirls is the fact that they give a high multiplier to EXP for little actual time investment. If I did Eternal Darkness at 25x I would be killing 147 monsters at 4x experience over 49 rounds, so the equivalent of killing 588 mobs in Grindfest, which would ~65 rounds of 9 mobs/round, lot less danger only having face 3 at a time as well

Hmmm I get about 2mil average from a round of Eternal (yarh my EXP modifiers kinda suck compared to GS club:p )

From a crystal fest IWBTH I get about 150k-ish EXP per monster? I think Wretched gives me ~200k

I'd say the only legendary arena worth doing 1-49 on now is Eternal =)

Old shade should have been changed as well and Shadowdancer needs some new Bonus to be worth it.

It seems to me that only the scaling factor can be changed for old equipments.
As for their stat, once they are rolled, they can no longer be changed.
(Except by brute force, obviously. But you're expecting Tenb to change that thousands of equipments?)

hmmm if that's the case, really seems like no hope for the pre-buff edb phases. the ethereal weapon speculation is still fine since it'll be soul -> void. good catch on his retroactive change trending, i didn't notice at all (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)
