Suggesting or making it so melee needs eth weapons to play a game is just stupid. If that is how tenb is going to make melee then all other weapons should be removed from the game. Melee was better when you could use anything and not just 2-3 different weapons.
Mages have gone from being able to do +12,000 rounds of grindfest on hard casting tier 1 elemental spells to not being able to clear normal 100% of the time casting tier 4 spells. Doing 350-400 rounds of IW-BT was fast and fun. With Spelunker added we can do more IW a day but we keep getting fucked. First with stamina costs, then lowering the # of rounds (better drops the deeper you go) and now monster HP. And that isn't counting all the drops to spell damage.
Most of the time all I want to do is clear my arenas as fast as I can (normally on hard) and sometimes an IW or two to keep my stuff close to my level. I do most of my 1600 rounds of arenas with normal stamina, so with all the changes I'll be lucky to finish the schoolgirls & FSM anymore.
If I want to do IW, GC, CF on normal-hard that shit should be fast and easy, the trade off is lower exp, fewer crystals and lower quality drops. When I want exp, more crystals, better drops I'll play on Hell-BT. When doing that I expect to go slower, use more mana/spells and take more time. I don't want to take 12 hours a day doing something that use to take 2-3. If someone wants to play that much, good for them, they have no life but they shouldn't get punished for playing so much.
It seem whenever there is something new added that is fun even more things are changed to make me think WTF is going on here? Instead of trying to control how everyone wants to play the game, just let them play the damn thing how they want. If they want to play 1000's of rounds on normal let them, if they want to play on BT let them, if they just want to do arenas let them. Just stop messing with everyones equipment, skills, spells every patch. Make HV more fun

Erhm...can't say that. Baby Steps -> T&T on Hard is my max daily limit. I don't go GF or CF, and very rarely do IW just to keep some of my equipment on my own level. I just don't understand what happened. Monsters got stronger, yup. But the real influence of it covers only GF, CF and IW. Arenas are the same, and RoB with new melee skills became even easier. So only grinders can be really upset about it. And as I've said before - I'm not that type of player, I'm too lazy for it.
