erm... yeah thats pretty dumb. just put a minimum bid if you refuse to sell it under X amount.

Agreed. The minimum bid should be the lowest you're willing to take for it, not play "guess what exorbitant amount of credits I want".

Not really. Real auctions have a secret reserve price that sellers want (minimum,) and if the auction ends lower than that price, then they just don't sell. In fact they don't even have to award the auction to the highest bidder if they don't want to.

You may have heard in the past week or so about how an original Darth Vader suit was put up for auction that ended at around $235k, IIRC, but it didn't get sold because the reserve price was $250k.

Only if someone is using an auction house that doesn't belong to them... or something like that. Think of the Hath Exchange as Tenboro's auction house.

after two weeks of item world, i finally got a 4th turn on my battlecaster rapier. but it turns out that the rapier will still scale back to 3 turns for someone of my level (level 127). DAMN IT! anyone level 128, 129 and 130 players can take a look at my rapier and see if you have the 4th turn?

Dude. That's obvious.

Base Duration 2.0 | - 0 50 150 250 350 450

This is how you read it:
- to anyone between level 1-49 it scales to 2 turns
- to anyone between level 50-149 it scales to 3 turns
- it gains a 4th turn at 150
- to anyone between level 150-249 (assuming you would level it even higher) it scales to 4 turns
- it gains a 5th turn at 250!
- to anyone between level 250-349 it scales to 5 turns (assuming you level it beyond this range)

And so on. 4 turns at level 150 is already very good.
