Not to worry, I don't feel like doing a translation for a while yet.

I guess the bounty size reflects the extent of demand and the lack of translators around. I don't think it's particularly difficult translation wise.

I think it's not the popular demand, rather the skew due to some wealthy users liking this particular series (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I've contacted my last hope for getting this translated: Chocolate Scans. If I don't get a word back from them in 24 hours, I'll leave this open to everyone.

Update:

I am going to commission this, so please do not send any translations in for this. CHocolatescans are busy this week, but I am going to be contacting several other translators and I can tell you that it will be commissioned by me, so I just wanted to let everyone know about this fact.

Biribiri is too busy, as well as Brolen.

I'm still awaiting word from two other translators, but at this point, I will commission this, even if it has to wait until the end of the month to do so.

None of the commissioners that I contacted was able to do it in a reasonable period of time or were too busy to do it, so it is now open to anyone. I've added 5000C to the bounty for your patience.

Looks like someone came out of no where and submitted a translation to this. Hope it passes and Shanko can get to work on editting <3!

I've looked over it. So far it looks pretty good, the translator was even nice enough to add the original text(which makes it alot easier for me)

Uh, hi everyone! First post on the forum.

I've almost finished a translation for SS8, but page 54 is beating the crap out of me. I'm going to see if I can get it done and proofread before the weekend.

I know this isn't really the right thread to ask, but did anyone find / have any problems with SS7's translation? I discovered an error in the script I had made on page 31, but I think that was it.

@CD: Not at all. adding the original text made it really easy to do. I did get thrown off a couple times because the first character was different from the doujin.

My college Japanese teacher told me the best way to translate something is to first write it again yourself, to help identify the natural flow of the text. If it helps the editor too, so much the better.

And the problem with page 54 is that is consists of these really long sentences with no discernable gaps except for possibly some spaces here and there that makes it really difficult for a non-native speaker as they try to divide it into distinct fragments before translating it.

Just like my previous sentence.
