Tried to open cpd file recently. Here's what i tried: ClipStudio Paint, Photoshop, Robohelp, Manga Maker Comipo, CorelDraw. Nothing worked.

So has anyone tried out any of the github melonbook crackers yet that works?

Yeah the only thing that'll work is Acrobat Reader that comes with CypherGuard PDF but even with that, in order to extract or convert the cpd files would require the Pro version of it. I'd tried opening it up with a

Acrobat Reader Pro but no luck.

Not 100% sure what it's doing, but looks to me like it's probably grabbing the decrypted pdf out of some temporary path from the melonbooks viewer. Possibly doing some renaming/processing on the file as well.

This script edits the metadata stored in .melon file and opens the patched file with the official viewer.

Details:
When the official viewer opens the .melon file that contains PDF format, the viewer saves the decrypted file as temporary file and opens the temporary file with programs associated with .pdf extension.
The script edits the metadata of .melon files to induce misdetection that the file contains PDF file.
When the official viewer opens the patched .melon files, the viewer misdetects the .melon file contains PDF file, and creates temporary file even if the actual content is not PDF.

anyone know to extract .epub files from dl-site, or at least convert them to .pdf?
