Small update from me with hopefully useful information.

1. In the last few months, I think I managed to fulfill most of requests in less than a day, and when the timing was right it only took minutes in some cases. This is an improvement over previous years when my response could take a few days. I hope to keep it like this, at least for the foreseeable future.

2. I've been trying out Tox messenger with few people (as a substitute for PM system), and it appears to be useful for someone. Here are main points:
- It's multi-platform. The communication is encrypted, and the protocol is serverless.
- You can check if I'm available very fast.
- You can send me the files directly, even if I'm not available (I'm keeping the client online 24/7). No need to upload on mega or other services, as long as the speed is good.
- You can receive the decrypted files from me directly too.

You can add me on Tox right away - see my ToxID in my signature (the long hex string).
However I'd ask you to send me PM on forums for confirmation before starting to process your requests.

4. A few people asked me for the way to thank me for my services. I'm not planning to change my default conditions, going to provide all regular help for free. Still, I've thought about a way that would allow anyone interested to thank me while still helping original artists - through enty/fantia. Let me know if you would like to try that. Or if you really prefer sending some BTC/ETH/BCH instead, I now have such wallets.

I've been trying to get viewerrip to work on a .dlst file and have had no luck so far. I've been getting nonsense vertical strips instead of the actual images. I saw genl's post in the viewerrip thread and figured I would ask here for help.

Is there any known solution to this problem?

Q. Are you still doing the thing?
A. When I stop doing the thing, either this post will be edited or you will not see a recent date in "Last Active" entry on my profile. So yes, most likely I'm still doing it.
- You don't need to ask me this every time you want to request something. Less messages means I can process your request faster.
A. Not anymore. Sorry.

Q. What files can you process?
A. Mostly everything from DLsite, DMM/Fanza, Gyutto, Getchu, Melonbooks and Digiket.

Q. What do you need for processing the request? How does it work?
A. Unless stated otherwise, I need the original files and login/password of relevant account. When it's done I'll upload the results for you.
- In case with DMM/Fanza, I may do okay without the original files, because the official application allows me to download them without your help.
- If you don't upload the files, usually it's because it's too big for you and you want me to download it myself from your customer area. I will not be logging into your customer area otherwise.
- You can upload the files on any suitable service, I can recommend mega (because it's fast enough for most people) and zippyshare (because it doesn't require registration).
- I usually upload files smaller than 500 MB on zippyshare. Beware - it may have a lot of ads, so having an adblocker is really helpful. I recommend ublock origin.

Q. Can I trust you? Is it safe?
A. Consider the following:
- You can update your account details (including password) when you think you need it.
- You can remove sensitive information from your customer area if you want.
- You can use a separate or guest account for requests, but note that guest accounts may get automatically deleted by the portal after a certain time and thus will not receive content updates.

Q. How long does it take? What if I want it fast?
A. Processing one protected file usually takes less than 2 minutes. That said, you should understand that I may not be able to see your message immediately. It can take up to 3 days in some cases, but usually you can expect a reply in less than 24 hours. Consider adding me on Tox, this way you can send messages and files directly. My ID is in my signature.
- In cases when I get an exact same request from several different people, the first one who sent the request gets it processed. Others get a note about it, along with the files if the first one does not upload it as a gallery.
- You can mark your request as urgent if you want, but ultimately it may still take me some time to see it. Consider using Tox.

Q. Is it free?
A. Yes. In some extreme cases I may change this condition.

Q. Can you teach me how to do it myself?
A. Not at this time, sorry.

Q. What's this all about? People can rip stuff themselves with publicly available tools.
A. Some tools that are available do rip stuff indeed. But that's not what I do. I decrypt original files inside protected containers. This is the only way to get the files in original quality and original size.
- If you prefer ripping, I suggest generating PNG files instead of JPEG - this way you may get original quality, though at a cost of size.

Q. Can I request more later?
A. Any time you like.
- Don't forget to provide relevant account details for each request. In most cases I never keep them.
- I try to regularly clean my inbox, but sometimes it may still get full. Try again in a few hours or let me know through Tox.

Q. Can you check out that other portal and see what you can do?
A. I'll consider if:
- The portal provides downloadable protected archives. Online viewers do not interest me because in most cases they operate with scrambled images.
- There is enough interest in content from this portal. Several dozens of purchases combined should be enough.

Q. Do you process only specific content?
A. Tags are not important. If your content is from one of listed portals it'll be processed the same way as anything else.

Q. I wanted to request something else.
A. State your request, include relevant information and tell me why do you think I can handle it.

Q. Should I mention you in my gallery?
A. You decide yourself. It won't affect future requests.

Um, sorry for being late.

Sending links through pm may indeed be a problem. Not sure exactly what should be done to remove this limitation. Though you can always change the fragments of the URL so it can still be used on my end.

Do you mean you can't see my signature? Please check your forum settings, the relevant option may be disabled. I may include it in my message if this is a problem.

This sounds easy, maybe I'm not as informed about the 128bit(?) encrypt used on these files. PM me something encrypted with that format and I'll take a look. Doesn't need to be what you're looking to decrypt.

You need to have the keys to view the melonbook file normally already, and have the official viewer installed.

Not 100% sure what it's doing, but looks to me like it's probably grabbing the decrypted pdf out of some temporary path from the melonbooks viewer. Possibly doing some renaming/processing on the file as well.

I may regret asking this, but why are you using Windows 11? That is just asking to have problems.

I'll see if I can figure something out, but I do not use Windows at all.

My suggestion is to use a better version of Windows, like 7 (or 10 if you have to).

For anyone interested in my services:

Long time no see. I'm sorry for disappearing for months and not even replying to your messages. But it seems I will not be able to do the same thing in the foreseeable future.
I'm especially sorry for being silent. Wanted to let it be known earlier, but still had doubts.

What happened?
- Something, I guess. I no longer have enough time to do a lot of stuff I always preferred to do. It sucks, but at least I get to do other stuff. I'm now much more busy with my life, and it doesn't look like it'll change for some extended period.

What about a message or a request that was sent earlier?
- If your message is not responded to, sadly it will likely stay this way. In fact, all of them remain unread even now. There are about 100 messages from what I see. Not too many, but the contents are likely expired anyway and it'll take too much time to get them up to date, e.g. understand who still needs help, wait for reply etc.
I may still browse forums from time to time, and even reply to some messages. But it will likely not be what you hoped for.
Some of you may still have me on Tox. I might check it out at some point and will appreciate to see anyone online.

That said, I don't want to discourage anyone from sending further requests. Just don't expect much. I will assume that by the time I'm able to do anything my help might not be needed.

Again, sorry. I hope this doesn't upset too many people.

I used [greasyfork.org] this tool but it has some problem like bloated image and detail loss. Recently, I find the [github.com] MelonBooksDumper. Is it use the same method to extract image like [github.com] EditDotMelonFile? I doesn't use EditDotMelonFile yet.

Hello, does anyone know how to open files with (CypherGuard for PDF) protection in DLsite.

I also hope for someone who could bypass/rip the files from CypherGuard for PDF's cpd files.... I bought a doujin recently not knowing it was locked by this and now I'm kinda sad ;; lol
