I asked if he asked that question in anger, and he said no, and that he really has no inkling why this was done. I never heard of the artist but I don't mind helping a guy out.

Well I can see more than one gallery but it does look like they were recently DMCAd into oblivion.

Only Tenboro can remove galleries, and presumably they only do that based on a valid copyright claim.

Usually the redirect you get when trying to access a removed gallery (if you find the link posted somewhere, such as an expunge petition, forum post or comment, or if you happen to have an expunged gallery in your favorites) will tell you if FAKKU or Irodori takes credit for the removal. This was not the case here, meaning it was likely requested by the artist personally.
