As in financially supporting it? I buy some physical copies of manga and have a paid subscription to Crunchyroll to financially support the anime/manga industry. I own new copies of manga, bought from Amazon. And I think my Crunchyroll account contributes to anime production/distribution. I don't usually buy anime DVDs/Blu Rays because they don't seem to be worth collecting/owning; I rather own a collection physical copies of manga instead. I'm not sure about the exact number of manga volumes I own; I think it is around 50 volumes.

So how do you contribute to the anime/manga industry? I would like to know.

By buying physical mediums like DVD, Blu-Ray, manga and merch. Don't forget the merch.

The disadvantage for that is, that you need lots of space and, well, money. These things are expensive.

Paying for a streaming subscriptions can help, like Crunychroll, or the 9000 additional channels (for anime) on Amazon Prime. Quite cheap and affects hundreds anime studios.

Fakku and Irodori for manga for both, physical products and digital ones. Fakku also has a subscription for digital products. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
No idea if there is a similar service for non-h manga.

Edit:
Oh wait, it seems I misunderstood the thread. I've read it as a general "how to support the anime and manga industry".

Personally I only have one, sometimes two anime subscriptions. (crunchyroll and sometimes additionally another service)

Some time ago I bought lots of DVDs and Blu-Ray discs, sometimes some merch. But now I prefer to save the money. Still wasting money for games I never play, though.

Physical: buying Manga is my preference, I'm way more picky when buying actual Anime DVDs or Blu-Ray, it has to be a series that really rocked my world.

Digital: Just a Crunchyroll subscription.

I bought a figure once, of Super Sonico, I was happy at first but then I didn't care about it for a while, realizing figure collecting is not for me.

I also buy anime, my entire collection is on DVD and Blu-Ray. I also own a few manga volumes and figurines.

I guess, as others mentioned, by going to the theatrical releases of anime movies. Most of the manga volumes I own were bought second hand.

I do preorder merch like figures and artbooks through sites like AmiAmi and Amazon JP.
