I use the tag sets as a way to follow artists and donated to be able to use all 10, but I'm approaching the point of wanting to have more than 1000 tags. Is there currently any way to have more than 10 sets / add more than 100 tags to a set? Is there any plans to expand this feature in the future?

It's on our wishlist, but currently it doesn't seem that 10b has a plan for it.

My guess only, but I would imagine that for the small number of people who even need that, it isn't worth the search engine performance hit. It's also a moving goalpost anyway, could set it to 1000, and someone will still fill it up and want more, have to draw a line somewhere, and presumably where it's been set is not far off optimal for usability v performance tradeoff.

I mean, I was planning to keep working on features related to the new search engine, including better ways to manage watchlists and blacklists, but then I scrapped all of those plans for some reason.

So, no real plans to expand it, and if I did bump it up with today's system it would be for catgirls only, which is a pretty small group of users in the first place.
