hello everyone, I need help, or some clarifications at least, I hope this is the right forum section.
I subscribed here just yesterday, I read many of the posts with rules, hints, faqs, lists, etc., but please forgive me if I did not do it deeply, I did not want to stay reading pages over pages for the whole day (and not in my language).
I'm interested to some galleries I found only here, to do so I must at least upload something, ok, thats right and fair.

but...

how can avoid to have galleries being deleted?

first of all, for uploading 5 galleries I checked 50 of my folders, and this is expected (due already present stuff), but even if I can't find in any way a gallery that then I decide to upload, it is subsequently tagged as "already uploaded", where the h**l it was the other one!?!?
then the gallery disappears, but this happens also for galleries not tagged that way, why?
I uploaded 9 galleries and all of them has been deleted, currently there is only one I can still watch through my profile but it is 'expunged' since yesterday while galleries I uploaded after that one has been already cut down, why?

a specific example:
I looked for "[Anim] Hitoduma Koukan Nikki Gengashuu" in any way I could, with the company name, with the name in kanji, with the name in romanji, etc., and I found three galleries of the game cg sets (dupes, eh!), I have scans of the original illustrations so I thought I could upload them, I do all the job and I get "Warning: The gallery you are trying to post has already been published" with the link of that, then I search for it again and this time it appears!!! where the h**l it was when I needed it!?!?

I read somewhere around here that when galleries are going through fjords them are still accessible, but you (experts) usually do not tell to newbies how to get them.
so it is a snake that bites its tail, there is no way out for me?

another thing, there is a way to know what exactly happens to my galleries?
they just disappears without any trace (for me), if only a simple message like 'deleted', 'erased', 'banned', 'sent through fjords',... instead nothing, they are just vanished.
considering that my GP are still (very very very slowly) growing, they must be somewhere...

p.s.: just in case you know it, if you can or if you want, can you explain me why galleries like 'oshioki yuki-chan', 'monster age 3' and 'lewd touch' (all by caramel dow) has been deleted? (considering that I can't really find them)

in the gallery manager, you can click on the bold red "expunged" to see why it was expunged. Usually there will be a link to another gallery if it was expunged due to a duplicate or being replaced.

likewise, you can visit one of your galleries, click on "petition to expunge", and then click show expunge log.

If your galleries are pining for the fjords, that was because someone or multiple people tagged it as loli (the usual culprit) or a few other magical tags, see below.

If you search for it, I bet you could find the fjords. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

edit: and it's not like your galleries are completely gone...

you say there are some 'dangerous' tags, maybe this happened, but still, any warning? any text saying something like "this gallery has been erased"?

Actually, the 7 you can't find were expunged, along with being tagged as lolicon and/or shotacon. That might be partly why you have a hard time viewing them. Try visiting the same link posted earlier, except in the fjords (or do a new search there with the same terms and advanced options selected), you should be able to view your galleries/see expunge logs there.

Hurr, you're right. That should work as of recent. I tossed a post in that thread to see whats up.

The only galleries that are 'deleted' are ones manually deleted brute force method (only Tenboro can do that). Even prohibited content galleries are not entirely deleted (they and there contents are completely locked from public view however).

hmm... it rised my curiosity
what makes our Tenboro use the brute force method? can shade light? XD

oook, that's relieving.
so also in the worst case of a gallery completely locked, it is still there, I can figure that the brute force method you quoted is not used often, and it is not the case of my galleries.

now, for what I can understand, I have 8 expunged galleries, only 1 of those is visible to me in my 'maintain galleries' (or with any research I can do), that's why I thought them were disappeared or erased.
so there is something that prevents to me to see them (still can't find them also with a 'show expunged' research), and maybe it is the same reason why I can't find galleries that later I upload only finding out after that them are duplicates.

No. Manually deleting, which he has done for me and others (especially during the real porn purge) is more or less setting the gallery as 'deleted', often en masse, in he database. Brute force as I use the term is actually removing it from the database and from the web servers, and I can't think of any time Tenboro has done this. Case in point, I can still visit my deleted real porn galleries if I were to go find the links to them, even after Tenboro "manually deleted" them (only files expunged or removed by Tenboro as prohibited content are locked out of public view).

Anyways, unless you go to the fjords or have a gold star (or have something else, I can't remember), you won't be able to view the galleries sent to the fjords (as far as I know), there is not really any way around that.
