As the Loot & Harvest Moon approaches its peak, the moogles are getting ready to start the week-long Loot & Harvest Festival, a celebration of Snowflake, the Goddess of Loot & Harvest.

The Loot & Harvest Festival starts on the day of the peak of the full moon (tonight, at midnight UTC, around two hours after this post), and lasts for one week, until the end of Monday, October 13th (23:59:59 UTC).

During the Loot & Harvest Festival you will randomly receive Festival Coupons for clearing arenas and RoBs. The chance is tied (only) to the token droprate; on average, if you clear all of them during a day, you would receive around three. The coupons count as Tier 7 trophies but are not tradeable or sellable; the equipment you get from them can still be traded as normal.

There is no hand-in deadline for this event, as the coupons are trophies and can be traded in whenever. The festival only takes place on Persistent.

Also, could somebody remind me if there is a limited number of Festival Coupons one can get?

As I understand it there's no real hard limit but there's only a max of 22 Arena's and ROB you can do each day. Which I suppose means if you have amazing luck you could in theory get 22 per day. Of course that would never actually happen as he very clearly said it would average about 3 per day if you do them all.

Does that mean that Item World is not able to generate LAH tickets?

Just arenas and Ring of Blood (which have 24 hour cooldowns). So random encounters, grindfest, and item world are out since those would let you grind tickets.

It might be pure luck but it also seems like the RoB are much more likely to drop tickets than the arenas - at least I don't think I've gotten a ticket out of the arena yet despite having played more of them per day than I have of RoBs.

8 coupons total. I could've done better, but it's still more than last year.
I'll have to remember to start saving Token of Bloods in advance next year.

Got only 1 Festival Coupon. Finished about 20-30 Arenas/Ring of Bloods mostly at Hell/Nightmare difficulty. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

I believe the answer is YES

I have some Hath Perks to increase the drop rate, too

Barely bothered with arena. Spent my 30 Blood Tokens and got 4 coupons. Great deal.

Like it says, it depends on the token dropchance. Which is very low for the first few arenas; the estimate in the first post assumes that you can access most of the higher-level ones.
