How many players have no friends who play Minecraft and can only play alone quietly?
I've learned online that Minecraft has sold a staggering number of copies globally (though I haven't verified the accuracy of this). However, none of my friends play it. I typically play on non-profit servers. Do you play with friends? If not, do you play alone or on private servers like me?

I bought minecraft when it went from Alpha to Beta. So 2011ish?

I've only played multiplayer with IRL friends (hosting my own server) and single player. For me Minecraft is a game I play to branch mine endlessly while listening to podcats. I do have an "active" save (played last maybe 2 years ago) that I dip into every now and then. Purely singleplayer these days.

My current save is basically endless tunnes and a base full of chests with items that I've done nothing with. But it's matelrials. Must collect more.

I have played Minecraft on my ps3 and ps vita (many years ago). Unfortunately, I was never a big fan of it.

Probably clocked in a few thousand hours on modded servers. Played with friends for a while but I play a lot more than them so it just became my own worlds after a while.

I'm still not sure what copper does, but it's great for mods that'll make use of it.

Minecraft 1.12.2 and before only. At most, I'll go 1.16.1, but anything after that is shit.

I generally play it in bursts with friends. We all get in the mood to play it, find a cool modpack, spend a month or two playing it every day, and eventually lose interest. Ah, so many unfinished builds...

Same for me, usually - I usually play either in singleplayer - mostly tech-oriented modpacks, or on private server with friends. Shame that a lot of the groups I used to frequent I've long since fallen out with...

I have a Realm I play on with some friends when they pop on, and a few family members but mostly I just quietly play alone while watching MC challenges on YT....

Any favorite tech mods? I quite enjoy Create - its fun to have machines that you can see in action. My partner is quite taken with Immersive Engineering, though.

Quite a bit in the past with some friends. I used to rent a server for it. I might do that again in the future.

Yes, and I usually follow the "two week phase" whenever a major update or nowadays every few drops releases. As for friends who I play it with, I've never been able to thanks to schedules not lining up.

I do play minecraft, usually for just a couple of weeks a year. But no not with people, I just fooling around in my world and seeing what new things I can find.
