No, not really. Especially with platforms like YouTube being so popular. I think AlgoSlop will continue by virtue of it making lots of money, but grassroots content always has, and will likely continue being prevalent on the internet. There are many, MANY people who prefer grassroots channels or creators because they tend to stick towards a niche that the larger media producers don't even consider touching because they want to minmax their profits. The fact that YouTube video essays on obscure topics have become so prominent in not only the content demographic, but also in internet culture shows that there's always an audience smaller channels or groups can reach out to.
I know I mostly spoke about online creators and not the content, but I think it's still applicable. For every couple people who have Jimmy Kimmel on their living room TV while eating Dinner, there's someone staying up until 3AM watching a video essay on the political themes of their childhood cartoon show.
