I use a MacBook Pro laptop right now. I enjoy using it. How about you? Which Apple products do you use?

Only at work. At home, nope. I prefer my windows and linux. I'm not supporting the overpriced MacBook nor Apple. I use a MacBook Pro at work only to edit videos and basic office works (also sometimes the i-Mac desktop) strictly for works just because there is only Mac products in the office (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif) .

As a tech-savvy girl/guy, I feel apple/mac products are for 'normies' lol. Can't tinker with it much.

If you can't figure out how to tinker with a mac, then you're not very tech savvy.

I have used a MacBook Air, and for me personally, it has both pros and cons. The two most frustrating points are the system-level file permissions and the need to keep up with system updates, as Apple and software creators gradually drop support for older versions of the system. For my next computer, I will choose Windows + Linux.

I've owned a 2007 Macbook Pro and a 2011 iMac. Both served their purpose and were of good build quality, but that was also right before the "iPhone-fication" of all Apple products. The MBP ended up serving me for 7+ years but the iMac I replaced with a PC only ~3 years later. Although having a 27" 1440p screen with a good IPS panel was pretty bussin' 15 years ago.

Didn't bother, with it being so closed off and clunky (in my experience) I stayed away.

More importantly I got into gaming in the 90s, and to be blunt gaming wasn't great on Apple products. It is getting better but at this point if I switch it will probably be to Linux (the Steam OS once it has plenty of support from productivity guys).

Mostly Windows here — partly out of habit, partly because it plays nicer with the tools and games I use.

That said, I do appreciate Apple's hardware quality and ecosystem polish, just haven't fully moved in. For mobile, Android — I like the freedom to tinker and customize.

Nah, I kind of just hate Apple's design philosophy. They don't just feel minimalist, but overly so. They remove basic functionality just to reinforce their aesthetic, which I just can't stand. There's absolutely no good reason why a phone shouldn't have a headphone jack. There's no good reason to have a notch in the screen. And there's no good reason to specifically design your wireless mouse to be unusable while charging.

I have two apple product that I sometimes use. One is a keyboard manufactured for one of their computers in around 1987 or 1988 (apple extended keyboard 1). The other is a powerbook G4 running debian linux that I use mostly as a challenge, because almost nothing is written for big-endian processors anymore and more stuff breaks every year. It's mostly just an interesting toy that has helped me to become a better programmer.

I also have a broken Centris 650 from the early 1990's that I still intend to fix some day but have sort of pushed off to the side for the moment, it's neat but just not quite as neat as some other stuff in my possession.

Modern apple has no appeal to me. It might have even less appeal than modern dell or HP or whatever, and i hate modern dell and HP.

I stay away from apple products as they limit what I can do with my hardware.

I use older model apple phones and make sure to use it for nothing other than basic communication. Absolutely no cross-pollination for non-work accounts between mobile and non-mobile. I have zero interest in investing in the larger Apple ecosystem, but that's kind of the point. I gave up on finding a truly good phone long long ago which wasn't that hard because I didn't really care.
