No longer can you log in to e-hentai and not be tracked by Google the great whore of the internet. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif)

Please consider a non tracking captcha solution like: Altcha or hCaptcha

Thank You.

Would recommend anime catgirls javascript challenge, seen codeberg and kernel.org using it.

Where we're going, we won't need captchas.

Incidentally, the catgirl captcha seems to only ask you to grind a low-value SHA-256 hash. This provides no meaningful protection, seeing as a high-end GPU (RTX 4090+) is on the order of 10 000 times faster than a modern cellphone at solving those, and you need to scale it to work on the latter. And specialized ASICs which are readily available due to Bitcoin mining would be orders of magnitude faster than that again.

The only groups that have spare ASICs and high end specialized GPUs en masse to use "against" EH would be LLM corporations training their models, and I'm not sure what's the worth of 60TB of chinese basket weaving smut to them. That leaves script kiddies and other bad actors trying to use booters to keep the site down, but if haproxy-protection with sha-256 could keep kiwifarms up through the entirety of DKF after they got dropped by cloudflare, it should work for EH just as well.

We don't use captchas for DDoS protection though, where it would have some effect, if only to add some cost to the attacker. But it provides no meaningful protection against credential stuffing, since if you balance your target to be solvable in a second on a cellphone, some guy with a GPU could try 10k username+password combinations per second.
