So let's be honest, there's a lot of hentai being uploaded in recent years that is clearly MTL'd.
It's full of sentences that make little sense, incorrect words, and lower effort on the typesetting and editing as well.
People will rate them low because they're hard to understand and make little sense, but regardless of the quality, they're what end up getting reuploaded elsewhere.

The biggest issue with the low quality translations isn't just that they're bad, but it's highly likely that a better quality version of them won't be made after they exist, because why bother? A translation is already out there, no matter how bad.

Is there a way for users to report them to get rid of them to maintain some semblance of quality?
If there is, I have no idea. Last I saw, the report option on galleries have options for more serious issues.

I know this seems petty, but if there's no quality control from users, it'll just overall lower the quality of scanlations. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Sorry if there is already a method in place to report them, but this is my first time posting on here.

Currently, being Defaced is the only reason an MTL gallery can be expunged purely on the basis of its own quality.

The average quality of translations may decrease, but good scanlators who care about quality will tend to maintain their own standards.

Any galleries which have been marked as machine/bad translations by the uploader themselves (or manually by those authorized to do so) have the 'rough translation' tag which you can add to https://e-hentai.org/mytags and mark as hidden.
