So, there is a torrent I'm downloading that is being stuck for quite a few days. It seems unlikely that anyone have the remaining portions of this file who can seed.

When this happens, is there a way for me to download the archive on the site, and use it to keep "seeding" for this same torrent, instead of creating a new torrent?

I feel like when too many redundant torrents are created, it makes things difficult to manage?

You could do it if that torrent was created using only the archive with no modification. Just download the archive, throw it where the torrent client expects it to be, and re-check files. If the hashes match it will start seeding.

If that doesn't work you'd have to just create new one and let the old one disappear.
