I thought there was an episode of A-Team where Murdock's insanity of the day was thinking he was black, and B.A. told him, "Fool, you ain't black" and Murdock said something like "Brother, that's a terrible thing to for you to say." But after searching 'black' through the scripts of all five seasons, there is no such episode.

I think it was S1E6, where Murdock donates blood to B.A., and keeps calling him blood brother.

probably just dementia but I vaguely remember such an episode too. and I watched A-Team religiously. Perhaps retroactive censorship? they've done it before, I had to search old torrents just to find a complete Tailspin series.
