We are approaching the 24th tagging contest soon. Just a reminder that it will be another anniversary where you get the chance to win an exclusive T8 HV trophy (i.e., Vintage Paper Tag). So make sure to participate in that if you want the trophy.
In any case, for those who have been following the tagging contests, it's a tradition for us to include community-identified artworks in the OP post, so here's another recruitment event for this round.
For this event, the task is rather simple:
Identify one "weeb" image that you find quite cute/beautiful, and then upload the image to this thread.Some rules:QUOTE
- Edited entries are NOT allowed.
- We will only accept your first unedited submission. Any subsequent entries will not be considered.
- If you wish to re-submit your entry, you must first edit your original post into *delete*, and then re-submit as a new post.
- Submitting the same image as someone else is NOT allowed.
- We intentionally keep the guidelines vague to keep the submission pool artstyle varied, but for the record, try NOT to submit things that deviate from the mainstream interpretation of "cute", "weeb", and "beautiful".
- So no, I probably don't consider JoJo's manbun as a good entry.
- Should be around a 16:9 ratio, ideally horizontal orientation (but can deviate from that somewhat).
- No nudity allowed.
- No gore or anything that can be considered as "offensive" by most people.
- Official arts are allowed, but be aware that I tend to favor the fan-made stuff.
- Animated images are allowed and I generally prefer them over the static ones (assuming the cute/beauty factors are comparable).
I will be the judge of this contest for the most part, although I might ask some fellow moderators to be the judge in order to spice things up a bit. Entries posted here will be used for the 25-36th tagging contests.
If your image gets used in the
Tagging Contest, be it the next one or the ones after, you will get
500 Hath as compensation. An
additional 500 Hath will be rewarded, if you also participate in either the Tagging Contest or the Banner Contest of the month the submission was used.
