Welcome to the 222nd Monthly E-Hentai Banner Contest!
A test of creativity open to any registered user that wishes to participate.

Banners will be voted and ranked by our gallery and forum janitors staff, and results will be posted in the banner contest thread generally within the first few days of the month.

Those banners meeting a minimum point threshold will be featured on the News Page of the E-Hentai Galleries. In addition, each banner contestant that wins will be awarded Hath based on their placement:

1st through 3rd place: 500 Hath
4th place and lower: 300 Hath

Rules:

1. Use the banner template found here: [Link]
   • This banner template is in PSD format with the banner title isolated from the background with both typed text and rasterized flavors provided.
   • In the work paths of the file, horizontal limit recommendations have been included as a guide to where the banner title would be best located. The spacing suggested works best with even numbers of characters; split between each side, or three characters; two on one side and one on the other.
   • In addition to the PSD file, PNG copies of the banner with the banner title justified left, right, and center are also provided for those who lack the means to edit PSD files.
2. Submitted banners must be submitted as a PNG image file, preferably as a forum attachment.
   • Banners may not be animated, even in PNG format.
3. Each person may only submit one banner.
   • In the event of multiple submissions the first banner that appears in the thread will be used.
   • If you need to modify your banner entry post initial submission, please edit your posts so that your updated banner is either your first or only entry in the contest thread.
4. There must be at least one female character present in the banner.
   • Male characters are not permitted.
5. Absolutely no nudity is allowed.
   • Partially exposed lolicon characters that, by way of convenient censoring or cropping, are rendered not nude will be grounds for disqualification as well.
6. *NOTHING* (characters, shadows, backgrounds, accessories, banner title, et al) shall touch or be cropped against the left or right edges of the banner.
   • Both the main title and sub title must line up with each other horizontally.
   • The banner title should not be heavily edited or obscured beyond clear and obvious recognition.
   • The banner title may be moved horizontally as long as it satisfies the rest of rule 6, but please consider balance and viewability.
   • The banner title may not be moved vertically.
7. Less of a rule and more of a suggestion: Characters should either be from the same series, be in the same or similar art style, or connected by some kind theme (i.e. catgirls, Christmas, bunnies, mod suggested, Airddragon, etc)
   • The banner contest poster may suggest themes in the thread topic description or at the beginning of the contest, but by no means are you required to follow that suggestion.
   • Use of characters from IPs owned by aggressively protective companies (such as Blizzard or miHoYo [Genshin Impact] as an example) however is prohibited. (Ask if you are unsure)
8. Though admirable, please do not include artist credit or signatures within the banner or banner art.
9. You must understand that I love you all. Except Spectre. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif)

Please be mindful of some basic considerations regarding your chosen artwork, in particular to visual clarity. If you are unsure whether any part of your banner may be at odds with the rules, feel free ask in the banner contest thread, or alternatively look at past entries in this subforum to see what other users have submitted.



If you wish to preview a banner as it would look on the website but do not want to manually modify url paths in the browser console you can try a script provided by hzqr:

This script allows you to double click the banner already in place on the News Page, and either preview in place your banner saved on your computer or load another image from a URL.

looks like previous one didn't satisfying me (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)
so i change to another one (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/faint.gif)

Keeping it white, keeping it clean (?) with Mignon's Shiro.

Edit: Changed the swimsuit translucency to protect Shiro's modesty. Turns out the banner really wasn't "clean".

I thought this one looked vaguely familiar lol...

Also, I am now glad I know the artist. Wish that parent of mine was still around, they'd be ogling like an idiot right about now lmao.

I'd say this may break the 'no nudity' rule, 2nd char from the left?

Considering the source material deigned it necessary to censor that particular region and it appears you are using the de-censored version of it... I'm sorry but I will have to ask you, Belphegor, to make an edit to your banner. It shouldn't be too hard to paint it out while still matching the sheer-ish look.

You can probably leave the fingers behind, but it might make for better visual clarity if they were removed as well. That will be your call though.

I honestly should have checked if it was used before, since it's quite a popular artwork. Same with that maid line-up by Throtem...

Also, good to know your parent would have liked the artist. I choose to make racy banners hoping people might discover stuff they enjoy (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
