As long as the whole "obscenity" clause keeps being within any sort of legislation no issue, media, or content is safe from state enforced censorship in the U.S., the alleged "home of free speech".

if you guys are against the porn ban, then, why not unban ch*ld p8rn? is some kind of porn in the end. is it legal? globally no, but still exists, will continue to exist because there are cultures that allow it anyways, and have adult/child relationships (we cannot mention which because is their culture, right?).

So, more than banning porn, let's be open and honest, the adult content industry has gone to places where young women (too young) now want to be only Fans models than actually get a job or career that does not involve sex (soft or hardcore).

But that will mean to say that those women (face it, the adult industry wants women to perform and men to consume) HAVE to do certain stuff and not this stuff, so, activists will shout "women's rights are being restricted".

the future female engineer has now chosen to be just the online "pin-up" girl. Sex always sells, but, as this biological thing does things to our bodies and minds, people get fed up and get tired of it and look for something else, extreme stuff? who knows.

These girls, make millions of their bodies, but what happens when the stuff they do gets old, like, people grow tired of it, that's when people quit performing OR do more extreme stuff. The interesting stuff about it is former porn stars who managed they wealth correctly or start rallying against the industry or become part of it (that odd adage "You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain")

I'm pretty sure the majority here come from decent countries, you have not experience situations that you will only hear from the news, also, our side of the world is much more conservative that the americans in certain aspects, sometimes is just annoying seeing the developed world's complain about stuff that for us is just dirt for our everyday living.

Do we consume porn? oh, heck yes, I have, by A LOT, but something is different, for me, I just grew out of it, I don't mind it going away at all, but banning and censoring, that's a step towards some dark unknowns that you guys in the free world have not ever experienced, meanwhile, we have seen it, lived it.

Just look at the U.K., that experiment is going pretty downhill. Digital ID or digital fences to get content, ye, people will not find a way around ever, right? that was not the point at all, and you guys know it.

Instead of banning stuff, why not get some true funding for education, but like REAL education, not the stuff about "subject that I cannot write about without getting banned". Because, in the end, your screw ups spill over the other countries, you like it or not, and you will never ever take responsibility about it, taking to the politicians of your countries of course, not you guys... although you are the ones who vote.

And remember, there is adult content and adult content, they are not the same, if you catch what I mean.

Young women want to be porn stars because the state has destroyed the economy with massive immigration, both legal and illegal, as well as put so much redtape for companies and in the labor market so much so that doing business and hiring people in these countries where you see those women choose that career path have more or less no choice. This added to the fact that it's the closest thing to prostitution, something that is heavily curtailed if not outright banned, is the reason why they choose to be recorded prostitutes instead, the best next thing.
The same politicians that want to play the moral police don't want to de-regulate and let the market fix itself from their retarded socialist mandates that more often than not pushes these women over the edge to engage in these sort of activities to make money.
