There's a reason why this thread hasn't been so active in recent months...

Rule of thumb for threads: If it's too long to read the whole thing, read:
1) the first post 2) a few posts on the first page 3) most if not all of the last page
#3 is often very helpful.

Well, this will have to be my FIRST reply here, since I can't do any URLs on my first. (I will introduce myself later, when I get my true FIRST POST through.) Here's what I think of Doujin-Moe.
Sure, they've got some nice doujins, but the ones that a majority of us REALLY WANT is locked away in their member's section, which is only for the elite. Add to that --- we have to PAY for that? That's really UNFAIR, in my opinion. Even worse, they and other paysites don't understand the shape our economy is in (it's not good), and instead continue to charge an amount that none of us (except those that want it) can afford (you'd be lucky to have 10 dollars, y'know?). The unfavourable situation this causes is that people are forced to look somewhere like here for their comics, but what they want, the site doesn't have (I could go on and on, but I have to get my post in).
To the owner of Doujin-Moe, who has an account here. What you don't understand is that, by charging people to see doujinshi that we want to see, you are infringing on the rights of the author (it's been said in this forum before) and on the rights of the translator. I, for one, believe that what one draws is free for all. If one wants to send money for a doujin, they should send it to the translator, NOT to sites like yours.
I've got two requests (which I WON'T post here, since that would be on the wrong forum!), and in a rescan of one of those requests, I said that you guys need to get your act together. I'm serious: start providing what the public wants, or... I'd rather not say the rest, but you might be able to see your projects being sent to other translators, like Ziggy, Strange Grey Cats, or Sahadou, both of which do EXCELLENT translations. However, this doesn't need to end that badly, if you just let the public see what they want to see, on THEIR own terms.
With all due respect,
FRANCO FERRER

They edit their post just to change the font? What a fucking 'tardinsky.
Almost right up there with you, Boggy.

Um, I AM 22 years old (I'm not sure if I should reveal that, but if you read my profile, it says my birth year for everyone to see.
The reason why I don't use credit cards is because none of us in my family trust them. I don't want to use them myself, specifically because I don't trust them myself. My mom herself had a lot of problems with the credit cards; so does my grandfather (who's in hospital now, but that's another story which I'll post another time).
Anyways, don't you agree that what Doujin-Moe are doing is basically the wrong thing to do?

TL;DR I WANT STUFF FOR FREE GIMMIE!! Protip: get a job (you lazy self-entitled hippie), earn some money, and buy the things you want. Also, get a credit card. I've had once since I was 12, and never paid interest. If you can't handle a money card... kill yourself and stop wasting precious oxygen.

They're the ones who translated it they can do what they want with it, sure they may be ripping off the actual creater by charging for it but the people who are paying DM for it where most likley never going to buy an orignal cause they wouldn't be able to read it. Alot of people say its not right cause every other translator releases there stuff for free but DM seems to release a lot more works than what any other translator does and if thats made possible by them charging for there work then I'm fine with that, its only like $3.75 a week don't be a cheapskate if you want it just subscribe.
