Ive had a account there from time to time to dl the stuff they commission and the reason i havent uploaded the stuff is because, they dont own the doujin but they sure as hell own the translations they commissioned for.

You still believe DM paying for a few commissions, something we have no documented proof of right now, somehow makes their practices okay. You repeated yourself, so I'll repeat myself: only some of what DM has on their site was paid for or done by their own translators. If they just had that stuff in the members area, I wouldn't be having this argument, but they aggregate stuff from various other sources, many of which are freely available. They cash in on laziness and lack of Internet savvy on the part of their customers. I'm not about to try and put them out of business, and I know morality tends to be a relative thing when it comes to ill-gotten intellectual property, but if you honestly think that DM are just innocent victims in all this, I would say you're the delusional one here.

It makes you less respectable. Users who post just for the sake of posting annoy me because it's fairly evident that they aren't on the forums for conversation, they're here mostly to get whatever benefits are associated with increased post count, even if some of those benefits are entirely imaginary. The majority of spam posters don't even read the threads they are responding to, they just look at what the topic is and start posting. As a result, they have nothing of any value to contribute to the discussion, just another post tacked onto the end of the thread.

The only thing worse than that, in my mind, is people who get involved in an actual discussion without doing any reading first, and then have the balls to try and argue their point without any kind of evidence to base their argument on. Having your own opinion is fine, but if you're not totally informed about a topic, don't act like you're a fucking know-it-all and tell other people their viewpoint is wrong just because it's not the same as yours.

Did you tell him you were sick of discussing it in private and discuss it in this forum instead? if not i think we all know the reason you did it.

DM knew about this thread, and they easily could have continued discussing it here. The fact that they didn't stick around to put up a fight says volumes, I think. They know they're not in the right here, so there's nothing they can say or do to make them look good at this point, other than making the changes I suggested earlier.

While I can't prove it with numbers, I'm under the impression that scanlation has actually increased the demand. Unless you look for rather obscure, non-vanilla stuff, doujinshi are basically sold out instantly.

So it's not like the artists suffer in this circle. As said, can't prove it (I mean, getting sales numbers on Comiket stuff for example is impossible), but that's how I see it.
