Why are we having a debate over the moral dilemma of sharing porn of all things?

more than a debate over the moral dilemma of sharing porn
it's a debate over the moral dilemma of sharing stolen doujin works (edit:pirated might be a better word, but w/e), that were translated, and are now being used to turn a profit, and whether or not the little business they've built around it should be respected and left alone~
so, everybody that's saying that DM should be left to do what they are doing, without anybody stealing from them, because they need the money for their servers, are you going to take your overflowing sense of right and go donate to all the artists that have lost out on DM's profits (or anybody elses for that matter)?

If the stuff was already available for free elsewhere then why do you think blade currently are uploading galleries?

Ive had a account there from time to time to dl the stuff they commission and the reason i havent uploaded the stuff is because, they dont own the doujin but they sure as hell own the translations they commissioned for.

And based from your post you are basically saying, because they found a way to profit from it they deserve to be ripped off?
You think that blade´s action is justified for whatever "belief" he is supporting? what if his "belief" was that he had the right to steal from anyone would that actually make it right?

You can say all you want that you dont care or whatever but the facts still remains, they paid for the translation and editing and deserve to decide when or if they want to publish it.

Just as an fyi, for every doujin they had translated for them specifically, there's more than 5 that someone else released for free and they are charging for.

No, but if the person who sent the police in my direction is the person who stole it in the first place, then they should be arrested and punished as well.


I would like to say if I haven't already that I promised them that I would stop if and when they removed all the material from their pay section that they didn't themselves pay to have translated, their response was an attempted bribe.
