I know spiders and all the other tiny creepy crawlies are something of debate for a lot of people, but me personally I love spiders, specifically orb weavers! Their patterns are so beautiful and unlike anything you'll see anywhere else!

IRL spiders? .. I never really asked myself that question, but I think there is no way, sorry

Understandable. Arachnids spook quite a large % of people.

Fun fact, horseshoe crabs are classified as arachnids, and they're actually closer related to spiders than crabs!

Now that you mention it, it's kinda funny how many arachnid-like sea insects end up being part of many popular dishes around the world (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

I like that they catch mosquitoes and other insects, so I never kill them.

That's the spirit! Most spiders will never pose any tangible threat to humans, and will only defend themselves if they feel threatened!

Another fun fact about spiders; some species of large tarantulas will keep tiny frogs as pets in a mutual benefit of keeping bugs away from the spider's eggs

I think that they are better than most if not all insects.

Death to all biting insects!

Spiders are beneficial insects, but they are also unpleasant pests,
so I want them to live as far out of sight as possible.

They're kinda scary, i kinda know wich ones to avoid and all, but even the most inoffensive spider can get the jump on me.

So yea, i'd rather avoid them

Not a big fan, their legs creep me out and I'd rather not interact. But they are incredibly important and can be cute. I'd just rather experience them in video than in person.

I think spiders are fairly cool. I see them in my apartment all of the time.

My tolerance with spider's size is inversely proportional to its distance from me.

Putting aside the hostile/poisonous ones
and "certain" hybrids.

Spiders are nasty! One bit me the other day. >_<

Spring is here and they're coming out of hiding. They need to stay the eff outside. I've sprinkled some Terro dust around the garage doors and sprayed Raid around the doors of the house and windows as a barrier. Also under the bed. The little bitches.

The problem with letting spiders live in the house is that they shit. If you let them set up housekeeping in a corner, everything stored underneath will become completely covered in little round spots of spider shit over time.

I grew up with spiders, especially a lot of black widows. I guess I just got used to it. They don't bother me the way they bother most others, it seems.
