Pointing out that the tower shield is nothing special or good at all

The thing is that Kite and Tower (not counting pre-nerfed gears) use to have the same base max Block chance before 0.5.0 patch, which is ~25% from my own observations. (confirmed in 0.5.0 release notes) This, however, have been changed in 0.5.0

So, Eth can indeed drop with Average quality gears. Tenb's word about it is somewhat inconclusive, but it seem true since there already 2 confirmed pieces of these now. That's a good news. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I actually picked up quite a few pre-nerf equips over the past few days from the Bazaar:

Crude Bronze Axe
Fine Iron Axe

Fair Iron Rapier

Fine Bronze Sword Chucks

I also picked up two Silk Gloves of the Fleet with 4.5 base evade:

To be completely honest, those aren't very good. INT, AGI, and evade are all crap on it.

Those stats helps but tbh EDB is the only thing that matters really.

That's the maximum possible EDB spawnable on shoes. Hence his comment, since at the very least, I would have paid absurd amounts of credits for them had they been mjolnir.

Just a heads up, the new patch changes how equipment stats are scaled according to their level.

So unless cmal fixes this, use the scaling calculator with your own discretion, since some of the stats might not be accurate.

Hmm, I was under the impression that the only stat scaling Tenboro changed was for PABs. So those might end up with slightly lower PABs than expected.

The rest of the changes were all adjustments of existing ranges I thought.

I'm not sure about the other stats, but I'm positive the PABs scale differently. I.e., One of my low level phase pieces scales to 15 int and 19 wis at level 250.

EDB, I'm not so sure, there are slight variations but I don't know how much to be exact.
I tested this by scaling a phase piece to 250, then I went in an IW to level it up and re-scaled that same piece to 250 and the EDB given were not the same. Although the difference is not as noticeable as the PAB's.

I know, but if 10B doesn't answer, I'll continue to level up and see if the errors become larger.

Both the Level 281 staffs were mine. I could have sold the exquisite for the usual amount I guess, but I was feeling lazy.
I'm not sure why you spent the absurd amount of credits required to rescue that Katalox staff though.
