Even if that is pre-nerf, no point in buying it if it is shitty.
The whole point of pre-nerf is as the name suggests, equipment that was before a downgrade to their stats.

0.4.8 Patch Notes
Equipment
- All dropped equipment will now always have a suffix. Filler equipment generated by the store will not.
This patch made sure that every equip has a suffix, so like i have said: it could be some equip generated in the previous updates. It doesn't have to be pre nerfed.

Ok. THanks for clearing that up. I've always been of the mind that they were pre-nerf, thanks for helping me understand things (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif) By the way, what's the highest PM and MM you've seen on a piece of Prism Plate Helmet, Prism Plate Greaves, and Prism Plate Cuirass?

Sorry for double-post, but I got this from the Bazaar a few days ago: Superior Ebony Staff of Destruction35% MDM, decent elemental prof bonus, decent FDB and EDB. If anyone would like to buy this from me, send me a PM with your offer.

I already told you before, to don't look to the prefix like it means it's better, most times it isn't.

Fine Ebony Staff of DestructionIs it worth it ? the base 5.09 evade cap is ok, the staff seems very nice How are you calculating that? Like hyl said, not enough mdm. Shuleria's staff: QUOTE Level: 124 -> 237 Attack Damage Multiplier: 4.15 Magic Damage Multiplier: 43.76 Magic Accuracy Bonus: 15.61 Magic Critical Bonus: 2.04 Burden: 12.41 Elemental Proficiency Bonus: 33.37 Deprecating Proficiency Bonus: 15.8 Fire Damage Bonus: 10.29 Cold Damage Bonus: 5.15 Elec Damage Bonus: 6.86 Wind Damage Bonus: 1.72 INT: 9.64 WIS: 2.97 Your staff: QUOTE Level: 236 -> 237 Attack Damage Multiplier: 11.41 Magic Damage Multiplier: 35.63 Magic Accuracy Bonus: 21.19 Magic Critical Bonus: 4.59 Burden: 8.49 Elemental Proficiency Bonus: 29.86 Deprecating Proficiency Bonus: 10.54 Fire Damage Bonus: 8.58 Cold Damage Bonus: 6.86 Elec Damage Bonus: 5.15 Wind Damage Bonus: 6.86 INT: 6.67 WIS: 5.92
Your staff is worse at every important stat.

I found a good rapier (20%, 3 turns, and 12.5% parry) and good longsword (23%, 6 turns, base 18) today. Considering this is the first longsword that gives me 6 at my level, it is a very high (max?) proc duration roll, on an otherwise good body. Razor, your cap is pretty good. I am leveling off a similar one because till I find a better one, why not? Then I am sure I can sell it for some profit. The staff is not terrible, but it is not great. I wouldn't buy it of a bazaar, but if I got it, I'd put in the shop.

Yeah, the cap is pretty decent. 4.73% base evade is fairly decent...it isn't the highest, but it is still pretty good. Yeah, I won't buy stuff like that out of the bazaar anytime soon (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

@ Razorflame With all due respect, but why do you obsess so much about pre-nerfed gears, even if its sucks? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) In fact, I believe that you didn't actually know What and Why people would described something as "Pre-nerfed". I will tell you... (using my own knowledge) What is "Pre-nerfed" gears?- Any gears that have their ID number below around 70000, which is what I've highlight in this link of your Magnificent Prism Plate Gauntlets of the Fire-eater QUOTE http://hentaiverse.org/pages/showequip.php?eid=47062&key=be8abc948e What makes them special?- Their stats are generates differently from today's gears. Certain gears were a different thing altogether, like Sword Chucks make you more stupid for example... Why would people want it?- Because certain gears, like Phase and Heavy among others, have better stats than current gears, for example, some Pre-nerfed Phase armor may have a grotesquely high Evade, and that's what make them desirable. If it sucks more than today's gears, nobody would call it "Pre-nerf" gear in a serious sense, junk is junk no matter how old it is. PS. If you find this post helpful, feel free to donate me some credit ... or your Gauntlet! (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

Thanks buktore, but I know exactly why some pieces of pre-nerf are more special than others. I don't need you to tell me off or make me sound like I'm an idiot or something, when I am not. The reason why I obsess about pre-nerf items and equipment is because there aren't too many of them, so if I somehow manage to find a pre-nerf equipment in the bazaar, you bet your ass that I will buy it because it is rare to find in the bazaar. In all, I've only seen three pre-nerf items in the bazaar in the entire time that I've been a member of this site. I know that certain pieces of pre-nerf equipment have stats that generated much higher or better than the gear today, like my Magnificent Prism Plate Gauntlets, for example, or my Superior Prism Plate Cuirass of Protection with its' 6.37% PM, however, pre-nerf equipment also consists of equipment that isn't as good, like the Bronze-adorned Leather Boots I showcased above. My main motivation for buying pre-nerf equipment is to preserve the equipment and make sure that it never gets deleted...a museum of preservation if you will. That is my main motivation to get pre-nerf equipment, to make sure it stays with us forever.

QUOTE(Razorflame @ Jan 8 2011, 03:04) It's a pretty good Heavy, but that's no pre-nerfed gear.. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) Here's one... observe that, even if its suffix is not "of Protection" and only Fine quality, its PDM still very close to yours. Not to mention the much higher the Specific mitigation... And this is what other people throwing away! There's a better one out there, I'm sure. QUOTE(Razorflame @ Jan 8 2011, 03:04) My main motivation for buying pre-nerf equipment is to preserve the equipment and make sure that it never gets deleted...a museum of preservation if you will.
That's what I do too, but for the thing I will buy, it should at least have some stat about it that made them different or more interesting than current gears. I just thought that you might misunderstood something about what you do so I tell you about it. If you still want to continue doing this though, go ahead... Nope, I don't misunderstand anything about pre-nerf gear. I just like the different names and everything. While I agree that they should have at least some interesting stats, I would much rather save a pre-nerf gear from being deleted in the bazaar than worry about what the stats are. I have the credit intake every day to be able to do stuff like this, and the bronze-adorned leather boots weren't even that expensive..only like 700C.
