edit: especially not for something that's not that much of an improvement over my current gloves.

I can probably battletoads it every day in my sleep till it hits lvl150 or so. It's gonna take a while, but seeing as I have no demon-fiend, I don't have much choice :\

Wrong, even for shoes you can get more than 25 at level 250.

Yeah, but they have a huge PM bonus, which is higher even than my current Kevlar leggings which are Fine in quality and Level 195 (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

What's the other kevlar?

Your Fine Kevlar Leggings are better.
I did some quick calculations for physical damage.
Basically if the damage roll was 500 at my level (167) your fair leggings would give an advantage of 10 dmg points for crushing attacks, 4 dmg points for slashing and 1 point for piercing attacks. On the other hand 1% less evade. And a lot worse Primary Attribute Bonuses.

But that's just me.

Also if the damage roll goes down to lessee 200 there's almost no difference between them in terms of damage absorption & mitigation. Even less and the Fine Kevlar Leggings gain the advantage. (Higher absorption..)

I sold it because I got this from the bazaar instead. Exact same mitigation, but higher level.

Not bad. Better than any I found. Grab it if you need it.

I bought:
a) Average Dragon-hide Helmet of the Thrice-blessed because: +18% holy is decent, and dragon hide is usually better then leather
b) Fair Dragon-hide Helmet of the Battlecaster because: all battlecaster equip is decent, and this is the first I was able to get...

I passed: Fair Kevlar Helmet of the Spirit-ward, because, kevlar or not, I don't consider <15% elemental mitigations worthwhile.
