I still keep a couple of chainmails, some silk, dragon-hide and even helmet with Hulk suffix. And a Flimsy Dagger. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I only saw it for a second before somebody grabbed it (not long enough to grab an item link), but there was a Steel Longsword (old school) with 26% BW...I thought you couldn't go above 25% for BW percentage...

It is an old one. The WD is sucked though.

Average Shade Helmet of Negation

good lord, do not buy shade from the bazaar unless it's godly. goto the WTS forum and there is PLENTY of shade for 1/10 of the price

There are a few awesome lowbie shade pieces I've been able to pick up from the bazaar though. Mostly in the 50s-70s range. They cost peanuts, and have relatively great base stats for the price I paid for them.

Would those just happen to be mine if you visited them recently? I just sold all of my unneeded equipment (since etothex was nice enough to remind me of the WTS forum (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)), some of which included shade armor at the 50s and 70s.

Interesting to know. I've only ever bought 1 piece of shade from the bazaar, and it wasn't that great for the comparative price to others stuff I've bought, but it was usable and served me well. I find fantastic phase and shield/power for much less all the time.

For a lvl 50 guy though, and lvls less than 100 in general, you should be able to find plenty of shade in the WTS for say 1500c to 5000c that fit the needs; you'll never get that price from bazaar. Even the shittiest fair shade drops i've gotten sold to the bazaar for 1500c, and that would be for 15,000c if bought from bazaar.

You are aware you can wear much higher level gear w/o ramifications right? You need not concern yourself w/ level too much for shade, since its burdenless. Considering your level, just look at stats and price. Until you're ready to start forging pieces, longevity is also not an issue.

As a matter of fact, I'm doing that now (with a new set of shade armor so kindly given to me by el h). Very early on, I never knew, however, and bought a really low-level club because that was the only thing in the bazaar that was close to my level. A long time ago, however, and I'm (hopefully) playing the game normally.
