Almost 40% depreciating magic staff in the bazaar: Averagr Willow Staff of the Curse Weaver. Lv. 218. Tempting? EDIT: system ate it; was around 4k. Would you have bought it? IIRC, it had 36% ET for 1 turn.

If you want a staff with +40 Deprecating proficiency, there's one in my shop for half that price. Better ET too. I'm not really expecting anyone to buy it, but it's there just in case.

Comments on equip posted: Fine Bronze Kite of the Barrier - not bad, not great, you could have gotten a similar one cheaper in a player shop, I am sure.

Fine Prism Axe of Balance - ditto.

Average Titanium Shield of the Barrier - at best, as good as the other shield mentioned.

Fine Steel Kite Shield of the barrier - I see nothing redeeming here.

Now, your turn to laugh at me. I picked a Crude Leather Helmet of the Spirit Ward (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Hey, it has 16.67 dark mitigation, and cost me under 1k creds.

I can really think of no reason to use a curse-weaver staff ever at your levels. I think Toro did when he did Battletoads Trio for the purpose of increasing sleep duration (curse-weaver something anyway), but that hardly affects any of you yet. Also, I'd rather have a 20% 2 turn or more ET vs anything 1 turn, since 1 turn makes it incredibly difficult to proc channeling reliably, assuming the ET is an important factor.

Bronze kite shield is like 37% block at L 200. Not worth leveling.

The axe is ok. It has good ADM for a balance axe. Bleed proc is good enough I suppose. That probably doesn't make it worth buying out of the bazaar though.

Cap is ok. Edit for Sayo: It's 4.5 base. I think I've sold 2 as high or higher than that in my shop, and Boggy has sold at least 1. Death Grunty has a couple around there as well. So not uncommon at least.

Tower shield is like 42% block at 200, Kite is 40% at 200. Tower probably isn't worth it. The Kite is decent though. Still though.... shields...

Meh, I routinely sell better cotton mitigation pieces to the bazaar because I'm too lazy to sell them for the minimal gain I'd get. And they clutter up my already cluttered inventory. I guess I could give them away like Boggy does now and then.... but... lazy...

Yeah. I'm one piece away from having a pretty good set of thrice-blessed cloth to give away.

I could consider buying some soul mitigation stuff for my next RL preparation, but frankly, I am happy with my kevlar setup (still looking for upgrades, though), so I've not even bothered to look at the shops for that stuff. Still, if you are going to be throwing something potentially playable away, I can probably pay the shop price +10% or something at least...

And about that staff - I am not playing mage, so I don't really know what's good. Just saw a high value in the shop and brought it here for your discussion (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

On the other hand, I couldn't find any good advice for fighting RL on the wiki, so... ;p

EDIT: More curse weaver stuff in the shop, Superior Willow Staff of Curse-Weaver, +45. And Average Willow Staff of Curse-Weaver with +65...

I was going to focus my discussion on the merits of Silence versus Weaken/Blind...

Superior Silk Robe of the Cheetah, 7.29% evade on lv. 249 - a bit surprised to see 5%+ evade thrown away... also, Average Gossamer Robe of the Fox with similar evade...

Both were me.
I pulled them out of my Snowflake pit and sold them.
I replaced them with 2 very decent pieces of elementalist gear and one mediocre piece.

... As a matter of fact, I tried to open my street stall in WTS because taking back of the bazaar became drastically cheap.
I fought in the item world as much as 700 round, and collected weapons.

But, I found this when I almost sold it for the bazaar because still a mind changed.
(A Phase gear may show a street stall to WTS someday because I leave it at hand.)

It's good because of being so low level. Completely not worth raise it, proficiency actually increase more that stat, than actually you get by raising it.
