Still, Fine Katalox seems like something that belongs in a player shop... wouldn't you make more profit that way anyway?

The problem is that no one will bother paying like 10k (or however much it'd be to be worth the effort) for a Fine Katalox staff of useless suffix. I don't believe it even had all that much INT for a fox staff. Also, keep in mind that since we've narrowed the culprit down to Hito, there's even less reason for him to keep it.

He thinks 45%+ MDM destruction staffs are "a dime a dozen". Etc. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

I picked up a pretty decent piece of armour in the shop last night - decent enough that I'm surprised the owner would have just dumped it (even if you had something better, it seems like it would be auction-worthy). If anyone thinks they sold something by mistake, PM me to negotiate its return, but be quick about it because I'm going to auction it myself in a day or two.

What piece of equipment is this?

Average Emerald Katana of the Ox - decent, but probably overpriced at shop 5k something... (lv. 121, proc 3 x 111). Still, seems like something one would put in a player shop, usually... Same for the Fine Ruby Kite Shield of the Barrier (lv. 176). 34.5% block chance is not bad, but it is likely overpriced in the shop (4k). Ditto for the Average Dragon Hide Gaunlets of Protection (lv. 201), don't seem impressive to warrant the shop price of 8,5k. On the other hand, I picked up for myself the Fine Redwiood Staff of Destruction (lv. 165). Good numbers across the board, but 40% ET for 2 turns is something you don't see that often. And just 4k, even in the shop... I think it was not a bad deal. PS. For the flimsy lovers: flimsy heavy armor, lv. 61. This post has been edited by Red_Piotrus: Oct 20 2010, 03:13

If you know what it is, you know what it is. I sell 50-60 pieces of equipment at a time, so I've occasionally accidentally sold things I intended to keep. Some times I wouldn't even recognize something I sold. Also, I wouldn't know if someone who I was lending to something accidentally sold that which I was lending them. For all I know, you bought the Pre-nerf phase gloves I was lending Conquest. (I think I have them linked somewhere, but I don't really care to check because I highly doubt he accidentally sold them) I guess the real question is, was this piece of equipment sold pre-nerf and should I start accumulating huge amounts of credits in preparation of possibly buying it?

QUOTE(cmdct @ Oct 19 2010, 21:26) That was mine, but I didn't thought someone wanted, specially after been on sale earlier... Well, there are enough items in player shops that stuff may be missed. It would be nice to have some items for sale search engine. But I did look through several dozens of staff cmal has for sale, and none had both 40% AND 2 turns of proc... (some have 3 turns at 30-something...).

Oh, shi-.... No, of course not. If this was some pre-nerf phase, I doubt he'd categorize it as "decent". Posting a level might be good at least. If it's 250+, well than that would narrow it down a bit.

Actually, that Ruby Kite shield would have had the same block for you, so I'm not sure why you made the switch. I guess the Superior one most likely has higher mitigations and stuff, but.... meh. I am so certainly. However, I attached importance the matter that Interference was a little low. Though it was little, Interference became less than 25 by buying it and changing it. A battle became easy because the power of the magic stopped falling down.

Ah I see, I didn't consider that since I figured the lower level shield would have had less compromise.

No to both. It's unlikely to be of interest to you. Funny story (well, not very): I bought it because I thought it was an improvement over what I already had. Turns out I was comparing it with a relatively inferior piece that I had equipped for no good reason, and the improvement over the piece that should have been in that slot was pretty marginal. If I had known that at the time, I would have posted it here as a "heads up" to other players and saved myself the credits. Now I'm just hoping there's enough interest from less well equipped players that I can make back what I spent on it.
