I guess my initial impression that I didn't like Yoasobi held up; now one made my bottom list. This was the first anime I saw that used a Yoasobi song though I'm sure there will be more later. Doesn't help that the opening animation isn't that good; they should have used the Yoasobi music video as the intro instead.

Singer is too out of tune for me. Last time I listened to this was in the 90's. Now that I've heard more songs, this might have some similarities to my #1 and #2 worst songs here?

Bad belting yes. Also somewhat annoying cheery melodies, the kind that I hate. Try looking up some cover versions of the song, it might be a bit less annoying for you.

Not a fan of rap?

I don't like rap yet I think the worst part of the song for me is 0:15 to 0:30 which is technically not rap but such a bad one-note verse that it is like rap. That voice should be like for some little kids' robot show or something, not kenshin.

That one bad verse together with several other different rap sections (some better than others) and goofy voices which take up too much of the song, then a little bit of normal Yoasobi sounding song, then bleh.

New Kenshin ending 2 isn't bad, has some rap too. I feel like the sound quality is mastered badly though, audio feels generally dull and mushy. Hmm at 2:22 I hear some voice processing that I think is one of the powers of mafumafu.

I just saw my second anime with a Yoasobi opening. Just as with the first time, I didn't know it was going to have Yoasobi beforehand so I went in with a completely open mind, then I got the shock (grah this is annoying) reaction. And I was able to immediately guess it was a Yoasobi, too.

Maybe it also helped that the song might be slightly similar to the Kenshin song, I'm not sure. I probably ought to "lower" the ranking of the Kenshin song from #35 to something even more bad. Guess my initial impression from way before that I didn't like Yoasobi is turning out true, since I only dislike Yoasobi more after seeing it live in anime openings.

All the Yoasobi songs I heard before these two though didn't seem as bad, even though I didn't really like them either. I don't know what I particularly don't like about Yoasobi especially since parts of various songs seem fine. There seems to be something in common among some of them that I can identify that give me something like the typical Ali Project creeps.
