People have always been betting on the elections lol. Even legally outside the US, as if that ever stopped Americans.
It's like when 2016 happened and we were all supposed to be shocked that Russia might've tried to "interfere" in the elections. Are we suddenly expected to act like Russia didn't interfere in every US election before and since, especially during the cold war era? Or believe that the US was this silly naive nation new to the world stage that never thought to have any protections in place to prevent outside interference, and Russia exploited their goodwill?
