New Season Notes (2024 S1 -> 2024 S2)

Early Bird will last until the end of next Friday, November 8th, at Midnight UTC. During Early Bird, the rate of equipment drops from monsters is increased by a factor of x5 (500%).


The following things have carried over from the previous Isekai season to the current Isekai season:

- Credit balance + value of item inventory + value of equipment inventory, capped to 1 million

- Leftover trophy value for Snowflake's Shrine


The following things have been added to Persistent:

- Peerless equipment and all soulfused equipment

- Peerless vouchers and equipment cores

- Credit balance + value of item inventory + value of equipment inventory, exceeding 1 million

- A bonus to all primary stat of +1 for reaching Floor 30, +2 for reaching Floor 40, or +3 for reaching Floor 50

- A peerless voucher for everyone who reached Floor 50

- An additional peerless voucher for everyone who reached Floor 100

- A global damage bonus of 0.1% for each tower floor cleared, capped to Floor 100

Might not matter to me in the grand scheme of things since I eventually drop off anyway. Maybe I'll be underleveled and have a harder time buying equipments from other players in the first month, I dunno.

Yeah, this is pretty cool. Glad I was here for the start for once too, extra drop rate makes the game feel much better at the start when you're constantly outleveling gear normally.

Dammit, I found one of my monsters at floor 15 of the tower Tower and accidentally killed them without scanning them. I knew I'd do that, lol. I was being so careful most the time, then the few rounds I'm on auto pilot mode and one pops up right on my cursor.

No. Autism should not be rewarded. Even 100 is crazy enough (without “achievement” part).

I had a credit balance of 1 million in Isekai. Didn't play for several seasons, but returned to it today and found my credit balance was 0. Annoying, but not that big of a deal for me. However, from now on I'll clear First Blood once every season just to keep my Isekai active. Anyone else considering taking an extended break from Isekai may wish to do something similar.

Why did you want to scan them?

Just thought it'd be cool to see their stat readout there and wanted it added into the screenshot I took, lol. Basically have no chance normally to find my own monsters (Unless I drop my difficulty drastically for a long time), so it's nice well it lasts.

Edit: Already leveled out of their level zone, rip. Found a single one of my monsters. That difficulty modifier to their power level is brutal. Went from 500 power level monsters to 800+ in like 1-2 arenas.

Yes, and I am a lot "closer" to being able to get gear from the shops than usual. But after a 2nd day of simply flaming out on the Level 30 Arena by not being cautious enough, I have left a lot of experience points on the table!

Want to know something even crazier?
In past seasons, some people made it to Floor 200, and that was back when the tower capped at 100 Floors at level 50.

Bleh, reached that awkward level zone where you start needing to Weaken all enemies due to their higher damage/numbers, but you don't have 3 Weaken targets/0 cooldown on it yet. Gotta Weaken, hit, Weaken, hit, etc. Hits around level 190 until 250. At least Spirit Shield soon.

I stopped using Spirit Shield in isekai completely 2 seasons ago. I seem to be stronger without it. The average spirit drain is less (Spirit Shield is much less spirit efficient at low levels due to the way the formula works) and you are less likely to get unlucky and die from massive spirit drain deactivating your spark. Plus I get free mana.

With the Tower reduced to half the floors, you are more likely to be able to luck out and clear something you normally shouldn't be able to, as well. Just spark over and over, and pray for lucky sparking that you don't spark up too much at once.

Yay I am back on the Tower frontier, I guess that's what the extra level 20 thing was for. I hadn't died before in early Tower to realize the benefits. I might have lost a bit of exp along the way but I tried to play in a way to minimize that (I kept my stamina refilling to near max every day, and saved until after I caught back up). Probably other things can affect how fast you level up in early isekai anyway, like the quality of your drops.

I wasn't able to time it this year, but previous seasons I would get to 60 stamina after doing arenas, then once Dawn comes, do the 5 floors at reduced EXP gain. I think this year the only time I will bother going under 60 stamina is to sweep all the arenas on the 8th and do an extended Grindfest run or two to maximize the 5x equipment drop bonus.

Early Bird is now over? Or else I am very unlucky to complete a few Arenas with no weapons dropped?

NVM my equipment inventory was full...an unprecedented thing.

I gotta "A CoD request has been sent to Persistent" from 2 separate users. And removing the attached equipment deducted credits directly from my persistent account with no need for an honor system. I also noticed this in my credit log.

So is using isekai credits for Mooglemail trading no longer a thing, or am I missing something?

Isekai doesn't have the Postage Paid perk, ISK needs to be grinded from zero -so limited quantities of it- on top of being unable to "buy" the currency via selling stars or hath/GP, and many users had wallets filled to the brim in Persistent so since its inception many users started doing the whole: "Sell isekai stuff for persistent credits" to squeeze the max amount of money per purchase without having to pay tax for a trade with a currency that would ultimately end up being converted to persistent credits anyways.

That's why you got 2 MMs, one with the equip attached without CoD on isekai, and the actual CoD of the item on persistent with a single credit or health draught on Persistent. This workaround is probably only allowed because I think it's impossible to enforce a full ban on such trading as people will say they are just donations, gifts, help for a friend, noob help, etc. unless you end up banning trading at all or active monitoring is put in place which would be lot of work for no gains.
Yes, someone could run with the equipment without paying the CoD in persistent because of how it's done which is why the auction and sales all are based upon a trust-based system but the playerbase is so small on isekai and word spreads fast even with language barriers so you would risk being unable to do meaningful trading later on by doing so I guess.

And isekai CoDs for isekai items and gear do work but aren't exactly the most common way of trade because as far as many people see it, as a seller you "lose" money to the tax, and the buyers may try to avoid wasting ISK since they want to buy consumables, upgrades, soul fragments or trophies with it or they just simply don't play isekai much so their ISK wallet is empty.

There honor system was used here, but I processed the 4 separate MMs from 2 different people while on mobile and rushed, and just got confused about what happened later. Never mind!
