Hello. I'm currently in the process of learning japanese and I've gotten pretty decent, to the point that if I wanted I could translate simple doujins like Ayawasuca's one uploaded by Dynellen or similar simple ones. However, I'm holding off as I want to gain more experience and be able to provide a better service.

Seeing what YFortes is doing in the name of his revenge for the MTL of Asakawa part 5 is frankly disheartening and demotivating to say the least.
This motherfucker has uploaded 22 MTL doujins in the past day, featuring the lowest amount of effort put into them and just shitting them out however he likes. Now your response would be "Who cares, block this fuck". Okay, what happens when this trash starts translating bounties? Interrupting other groups in-progress translations? Or better yet, he doesn't stop so you have a website that's swimming in MTL shit, since actually going through the process and making a decent translation takes time. But no, this motherfucker can shit on the commissioners, hobby translators, editors and even the official translations.

So, what are we supposed to do? I would like to some time in the future translate galleries and have them be used for an actual decent product, but this is making me consider otherwise. I hope this is just an overreaction on my part.

The admins on this site gives zero fucks about garbage MTL spam literally flooding the entire site, to the point that they would actually rather add a tag dedicated to said garbage than to take any action. There is nothing you can do about it.

Yeah, I figured. Reading some of the comments it seems the admin believes in "free speech" as in allowing this shit, so the translators and editors and people who actually give a shit about the website can go fuck themselves.

I know this probably won't amount to anything, I'm just disappointed about this whole situation.

Ignore him and move on with your life. Work on what you work on without caring about the existence of MTL versions.

If bounty posters want to accept MTL translations, it's up to them. If Tenboro wants to let EH swim in MTLs, that's up to Tenboro.

Don't worry about or waste energy on things you can't change.

It appears that all the uploads have been tagged o:'rough translation' the moment they were uploaded, which means the uploader didn't uncheck the "Translated by a proficient human translator" checkbox.

You can just hide o:'rough translation' in https://e-hentai.org/mytags.

As terry says, the uploader is self-flagging these uploads as shit rough, so if you configured your filters to not see rough translations (which implicitly includes machine translations), you are already not seeing them.

And if you are one of those people who go "I don't want them hidden, I want them gone", and you really believe that machine translations would go away just because we didn't allow them, rather than just incite a whole new level of shitstorm: welcome to reality, you must be new here.
