Alright so I looked it up, and while tomboy has been in use since the 1500s, the term "tomgirl" doesn't even have a wikipedia article outside of a mention under "LGBT slang", and the top two definitions on Urban Dictionary (from 2013 and 2012) still disagree on whether "tomgirl" is used to describe a boy or a girl.
Anyway, I've literally never heard this term because I don't hang out in gooning Discords, and I was hoping it would've stayed that way.

Its less natural I guess, because culturally tomboys do not cross dress. The only exception was Victorian era little boys that wore sailor uniforms with skirts, which has confused the Japanese for centuries.

A tomboy isn't a cross-dressing girl, it's a set of characteristics like athletic, spunky, extroverted etc. Characteristics not all men show either. So is the "inverse tomboy" just some sissy faggot then, or any boy in a skirt? That wouldn't be the inverse of a tomboy.

I've never thought of it that way. Always thought of it as basically being effeminate-acting men the same way tomboys are somewhat masculine-acting women.
